I used to play the heck out of Tetris on NES back in the day. I thought I was pretty good, but getting this 4000 points on this version is hard! I have only gotten just a bit over 1300 so far after a lot of trying. Anyone else having trouble?

I'm not getting very far either, My son say I need a new mouse and of course that was not on my list of thing to get at the store this week.

I'll never hit 4000. It's Impossible.

Im not really good at any of the games, so I guess I'm the last person to say anything about the Tetrix game. I have played it in the past and have done very well. The last time I played it on FC (about a year ago) I got the high score and earned the 50 cents, but I think the high score was much lower then too. I will try it again as I am always up for a challenge, but by the sounds of things I probably won't meet the criteria for getting the high score.

*bleep* i hit like 1400 first try i have no patience anymore for it though i wish they would link fantastic contraption to the site i had fun building those...

I think they set the bar too high on the mandatory 4000 point score. I was a really good tetris player, back in the day, but I've only gotten to about 1200 after playing until my butt was numb. There are computer apps you can use to cheat which is what I would have to say is being used by anyone making a really high score on this game.

if you look at the list of high scores -- MANY of us got to the 4000 or beyond.
i used my keyboards arrows-- no mouse needed for this game.
i will admit it took me a few tries to get above the 4000 points -- but it is definately possible.

For me it's been hard to get to the 4000 points because I'm used to playing this game on the original gameboy by nintendo. In the nintendo version I would make more than 4000 points but the computer arrows make it harder for me. I really don't like it. lol!

I got to 4700 points on my sixth or seventh try. I played a lot of the old Tetris game so playing this came quite naturally to me. I haven't tried it since but every time I see the high scores list on the site I get tempted...

I've working on this game the last 2 weeks & the highest I've ever gotten is 3000 + then the games starts to speed up as my blocks get up higher on to the top. Then the blocks seem to have a mind of it's own & that's when I panic & mess up then lose! One thing that seem to help though is if you keep the blocks on the bottom, the speed is the blocks going down is slower & you have more control. There's another strategy that helps you get closer to winning but until I win I'm keeping it in wraps. I see other people's scores some are up to 5000+ points! I wonder if it's real because I can barely get up to 3000+ right now. But, I will never give up, never surrender! LOL

I'm not much of a game player. My kids made fun of me when I played Mario Brothers. Just don't have the knack for it guess :(
-
I'm not very good at it - if they lowered the score to 1000, it would be a challenge for me :( I don't think there's any chance for me to get that 50 cents. I'll just wait and hope for something easier next time.

I tried it a couple times yesterday and managed to make it to 4100, but never got credit! Then todayi realized that i was playing the regular one and not the egytian one. i tried that a couple times but havent been able to get over 2600. maybe ill go back and try some more :)

Where is this game?

even though Tetrix is way hard for me to ever reach a 4000 point score to get my bonus, I still love it and play everyday

The trick is to get multiple lines at once to get your score up, at least thats what I do, good luck

Thanks for the opportunity to earn .50 on this flash game .... BUT, CRAP! The first time I played I scored 4000+ and didn't realize the 'code' names you're supposed to use for submiting.... so I just put in my screen name.... :BangHead: I've played it a dozen times since and now haven't been able to score over 4000. .... I think I give up on this one.... Good Job to all those who got credit!

I did that, too. Made me facepalm when I realized the mistake. Glad I'm not the only one who made it. :P

I play this everyday and still haven't gotten to 4000+ but I'm going to keep trying! At least its a game I find fun! :)

after a couple practice runs it was quite easy for me. i much prefer the gameboy version because its easier to move the pieces expacilly when you are on a lap top w/o a mouse and you are using the touch pad.

It took me forever but I finally hit the 4000 mark. Stupid me though I got so excited I entered a user name instead of the code provided! I hit it again and tried to enter the correct code but got an error message. I wrote to FC support and asked for my credit but never heard back. I hit the high score again, a different day, and entered the code and this time no error message, however, I still haven't been credited. Is this credit something that shows up right away?
