i perfer cooking at home. Since we have a 20 month old, cooking at home is alot easier than going out. Plus going out is expensive.
-
With the budget being pretty tight, cooking at home works out well for us. I do like an occasional dinner out though
-
I hate to cook bc I hate to grocery shop! I also hate the clean up. I dont have a dishwasher :( I also really like the social aspect of going out to eat.
-
grocery shop AND I LOVE TO COOK AND CLEAN AND DO THE BEST THAT I CAN WITH MY FAMILY LOVE LOVE

i prefer to cook at home for a few reasons. first of all, cost- decent food at a restaurant is way more expensive than buying groceries to cook at home. also, my husband and son a re very picky eaters, with allergies as well, so finding a place where everyone wants to eat can be tricky and usually results in someone not liking their food. thirdly, my kitchen is my sanctuary. its the one place in my life that i know i can go without anyone bugging me. my husband and kids know that if i'm the kitchen i am in a zone and they just leave me alone, knowing they will soon be showered with the delicious results of my efforts

well i like going to new restaurants that i havent been too but when i dont have the money i like to stay home and cook.
-
Honestly I prefer to go out but my husband loves my cooking. He asks why do I wanna eat someone else cooking when I cook better? My answer: because you eat too much!!
-
To be honest I really like them both. I LOVE my cooking, and everyone knows that it is more econicmical to cook and eat at home. I also enjoy eating out a couple of times per week, even if it fast food. IF I had more money, I would enjoy higher priced restaurants.
IF I had to eat out all the time, I would get starved for some of my cooiking. Yet on the other hand, IF I had to eat at home all the time, I would get starved for Wendy's Chili and a Jr. burger OR a Chic Filet sandwich with waffle fries and lemonade.

Going out sometimes is relaxing; most especially with family or if celebrating an special event. But, I prefer to cook because your love, patience and taste of the food come out naturally. Then sending the message to people who will eat, how much you means to them just to there.
-
Now that I'm retired, I prefer cooking at home because I love to cook, however eating out is a treat.
-
well since i am a vegetarian, sometimes it is difficult to find food I can eat when eating out (a lot of things like soup is made with chicken or beef broth). I like to go out because I do not have to worry about cleaning up after myself, but in the past year, I have learned a lot about cooking, and I enjoy making my own meals now. I'd say I prefer cooking. When I cook I can be sure that what I eat is vegetarian. :)

I prefer cooking at home. We are a family of 5 and for us to go out to eat it can get pretty expensive! Plus I don't mind cooking!
-
I prefer to go out, especially to Italian or seafood restaurants.
But there are days when I'm in a cooking mood and I cook alot.
-
Although cooking can be a snooze sometimes it can also be exciting too. We try to change it around by trying different things. Besides going out tends to get expensive especially in these times.
-
Going out- it's just nice to get out of the house. Plus I can't cook and don't really have the patience for it anyway.
-
I definately prefer going out because honestly although I enjoy cooking I so hate to clean up afterwards. :)

i love to cook and so does my fiance so we basically stay at home and cook but we do go out once in a while i have alot of food allergies so its ruff when we go out   :star:
I prefer cooking here at home, especially in the winter when the temps are below freezing because that helps hat the house and home made soups, stews and breads make the house smell good too!
-
Iprefer cooking at home rather then go out, this way I know everything that goes into the food!
-
I don't cook and I like to go out. But I don't spend a lot of money on food.
-
As long as I don't need to cook, it can be either way!!
-
I prefer cooking at home most of the time but trust me with three little ones sometimes I would rather save my time and effort for them.
-
I think I prefer cooking at home. Going out is good sometimes-a little change of pace and different atmosphere is good for you.
-
Honestly, I like both. As a newlywed, me and my husband have started cooking together and trying new things. It is a great way for us to be together and have fun, especially since we both love food. It is a great way to spend our evenings. But, going out is a nice way to celebrate and break the monotony of our week. I'd say we eat out at least once a week, so we are not spending too much money, but still enjoying ourselves. Seems to be working great so far.

cooking at home cost too much to eat out very often
-
:peace:i prefer to cook at home, cheaper and healthier. plus im picky when it comes to my food and what i eat. :fish:
-
:cat:Let's see cook at home and have to clean up dishes or eat out and let someone alse clean up the dishes? That's a no brainer - of course, I like eating out more!
-
I love to cook but am an empty-nester, so I don't do much of that. I don't go out to eat much anymore either except for something inexpensive.
-
Half and half. I love to cook and I love to go out to eat
-
I prefer to cook at home most of the time, but going out is good change of pace. I can't cook everything, so it's nice to eat something different from someone who can cook it very well.
-
I love cooking and trying new things. So, I prefer cooking at home. Though, I do really enjoy going out, but that adds up so quickly and I don't like the fact that because you're not cooking, you don't know exactly what's going into your food (I'm a bit of a health freak).
-
I love to cook and we often eat at home. I also live in an area that has allot of great restaurants available through restaurants.com so we eat at some very nice places fairly cheap!
-
I prefer cooking at home all the time,we will go out if there is any occasion or just like that.
-
i rather eat at home instead of eating out if i can help it.
-
I prefer cooking at home...actually love it but find that with two kids, a wife, and two jobs I am hardly able to get my laundry done much less cook at home. Going out to eat or not eating at all occurs, on average, about four days a week. I try to cook a few extra things on Sundays before the work week starts so that we can all pack a lunch or have something quick to nosh on.
-
I love to cook at home then you know exactly what's in your food and it's a lot healthier
-

I so love to go out instead of cooking, since now its just me, I rather go out with friends then cook for just me. I do like to cook though just not too motivated to do so.
-
I enjoy cooking at home., and also I love going out to eat too., well it's better to enjoy someone else cooking every now and than :)
-
We like to cook at home but sometimes its nice to go out and have someone wait on you.
-
I prefer to cook at home most of the time, but going out is good change of pace. I can't cook everything, so it's nice to eat something different from someone who can cook it very well.
I agree with you; every now and then I enjoy eating other people's cooking for a change of pace (if they can cook) but after raising 3 boys and having to cook all the time I am still tired of certain foods (pancakes) it is always great when there is someone else to cook somethingg different for you!!!!
-
I hate to cook and I hate doing dishes but I do not have the money to eat out so I do it anyway. lol But I am a good cook and my kids and guests seem to like my cooking.
-
I love cooking at home. When you cook, you know what you're putting into your food. Only you know what you're allergic to. If you happen to go to restaurants, you have to ask does this entree have seafood or ground black pepper or nuts. It's a pain. I just rather do food my own way at home. Sometimes, the waiter/waitress may forget to tell the cook that those ingredients have to be removed and when you start eating your tongue swells up like a balloon and your eyes start itching like hell. No way restaurants are not for me. Lol! I'm a slave to my kitchen.
-
going out.
-
I prefer to cook at home. It saves lots of money, and I can fix the food to my husband's and my taste. However, we go out once a week to get a break from the routine.
-
I love to cook ... I like going out occasionally but I'm trying to watch my calories and eat healthy so it is hard to do when you go out. I would rather just make dinner at home, at least you know what you are putting into it.
-
I love cooking. I use to try different receipes. Cooking is my passion. Most of the times i'm interested to do snack items.
But i do go out rarely

I do most cooking at home as my husband has gluten allergy. Going out is not but not always easy.
