So I was getting ready to check my email and I noticed It so I clicked on It and I am happy.

As one of the worst storms on record pummels the midwest/east... I hope Phil's right.

The weather is unpredictable, there's something really going on. I don't know but hope everybody is okay. :)

I live in Southeast MO. and it is really cold and snowing, I sure hope this Spring comes fast. I guess we got off easy. A friend of mine lives up north and they got 16 inches of snow yesterday. Wow!!! How is everybody else?

Yesterday It rained then last night the wind started and now It's snowing and freezing. Us In Kentucky are going to get It. Which Is why today I'm going out and buying a few things my boyfriend and I need as well as plenty of baby food for my daughter.

My daughter lives in Missouri, they got alot of snow. Where I live just got the bitter cold.

It can't come soon enough for me. We have below zero windchill temps today, but no new snow.

It's my brothers bday today and he has yet to text with his outcome, I go by his results, 24 years and he's been right a good majority of them lol
We really need an early spring thou. I am in CO and where I'm at we've had very little snow and it ticks me off! If it's going to be cold it needs to snow is my motto. We hit -17.5 last night and we're barely at -4 today. Yesterday got to 1 degree! :wave:

I sure hope it is an early spring. I do not like thess negative temperature and wind chills. Come on sun, I miss you!

I wonder if people really believe in that old wives tale. Here in Illinois it is snowing so hard and so much the snow is 2 feet tall in most places and so as far as the ground hog he was still far, far below in the safety of a warm spot.

well i hope the spring comes soon i really sick of my toes being frozen solid lol it really bothers me snow and rain and wind or all 3 of em at once mehh, winter lovers can have it

Yeah I was really surprised that Phil didn't see his shadow considering we just had a blizzard here where I live yesterday. But yay, I'm pretty excited for an early spring... here's hoping he's right! ;D

Hope he's right too. Woke up with a 3.5 foot drift outside my front door. Couldn't tell where the path to my house was as all the flower garden plants were buried in snow. We got 13 inches last night, on top of the 6 inches we got the night before.
All I can say is I've got the best neighbors on the planet, who snowblowed most of my driveway and sidewalk this morning, otherwise it would have just been me and my shovel the whole day long. About 3 hours to clear a path to my door and clear out the 4 foot wall of street plowed snow/ice at the end of my driveway was enough for me.
Early bedtime for me tonight! :P

I usually don't care, BUTTTTT this is one time that I sure hope the ole ground how is right on. People all over this nation have been hurt so badly by all this terrible winter with all the snow, sleet and cold.

I was watching TV this morning and I couldn't believe how many people were there in person to watch paxatuhny (sp) Phil. That Groundhog has some following. I hope he is right about an early spring.

I really hope Phil is right and that we get an early spring. It is hard to believe that an early spring is possible with the blizzards, ice, and freezing temps. We had a blizzard yesterday and today and looks like we got over a foot of snow. I am sick and tired of the cold and I am looking forward to spring. Please don't disappoint me Phil.

Well, for living in the desert southwest here in New Mexico, this storm sure hit here pretty good. Only dumped about 2-3 inches of snow, but the temps have been between 5 and 10 degrees with wind chills below zero. Very weird for where we are, and we're supposed to get more snow this weekend! Boooo.......I hope Phil is right too, although I really don't believe in that stuff.....all just wive's tales to me. ;D

It can't come early enough for me. Our groundhogs couldn't get out of their holes to see if they could see their shadow or not because of all the snow :BangHead:

i heard on the radio that the ground hog has been right only 39% of the time and thats in the past CENTURY! :o so yeah you might be expecting a long winter :'(
