Title: does anybody like cooking?

Post by: mommagoes on February 05, 2011, 02:50:46 pm: i love to cook and baking is seriously my passion. my baking has gotten so serious that my kitchen cupboards have more baking pans/tools than anything else and my husband just keeps buying me more and more. and i enjoy it so much that i have actually considered getting a business license because i have already sold about a dozen cakes and i even won a baking contest online

some stuff just doesn't as good after its been in
the fridge... so i'm always trying to get the portion
just right.

i have noticed since i've started cooking more and
more, that it saves quite a bit of money compared
to eating out a few times a week. i mean, you never
think about it being anywhere from $15 - $30 when
you go out, and that's just for two people! that's
not considering a "dollar menu" but still...

Plus I'm a vegetarian with a husband that definitely isn't, and a daughter that eats white meat only, so I'm always on the lookout for interesting ways to eat vegetables.

Post by: sommap on February 05, 2011, 08:34:44 pm: I used to be a really good cook. I guess I probably still am, but as a senior citizen and living alone, I don't experiment as much as I used to do. Fortunately I will eat leftovers, so often eat the same meal three or four times.
