What was your High School Mascot? Mine was the Bel Air Highlander.

Ours was a hornet. Boy, was that a long time ago! Thanks for bringing back a lot of good memories. Actually, I live about 90 miles from my little hometown and there are a bunch of us in the area that connected through Facebook and have a lunch once a month. It's really nice. Of course, we have reached the age where we're starting to lose our classmates and it's wonderful to be able to reconnect with those who are left. Proud member of the class of 1964. A wonderful time to grow up in middle America!

My high school mascot was a Roughneck. Obviously I grew up in an oil town. Fun fact: we were one of only 2 schools with that mascot in all of Texas. Pretty cool considering how big the state is.

Red Devil

A bison I believe, it was creepy as hell, I remember that.
-
Tigers

Go WildCats! I loved out school colors of Orange and Black. The school that I graduated from has been torn down and rebuilt, but they use the same Mascot. I keep in touch with many classmates from my graduating class of 1971. I really miss those good old days :crybaby2:

Rebels! I'm from the South!

Vikings for me.

Ours were the Indians, but quite a while after I graduated I heard they changed the mascot to something like the whirlwinds due to objection to "Indians" being used as a mascot. Don't know what the big deal was. I recalled growing up, I always thought the mascot honored the tribe our city was named after, and the mascot reminded us of their Chief - we learned a lot of local history because of that. Now, the HS will just learn about weather phenomena...
