I just got a dog this week.She's two.She's a shizzew.She is so cute.I been waiting awhile to get her.I wanted fish but my spose has some dumb superstition about them.Still dont understand :fish: that.Does anyone own a pet? :bunny: :dog: :fish: :cat:

I have an orange and white cat that is so adorable. Although she likes to be right in my face all the time and I think she may be pregnant. Anyone want a free kittens in a few months...LOL

we have one dog... i would rather have a bowl of fish...But nobody would let me get away with that! :-}

I would like a kitty or a small dog, but have such an animal allergy that it's impossible......sigh

I have two female Maltese. Not the brightest, but they are the cutest and most fun dogs I have ever had.

We own a pet, or lots of pets. We are trying to keep them under control but they keep on producing babies. How do you get rid of dust bunnies??? We dust all the time and they keep apprearing...

I have a cat named Oskar :cat: He does run the place! I heard somewhere that dogs have an owner, but cats have a staff. LOL Its kind of funny that this 300lb, thick necked German is spending time cuddling with an orange tabby cat.
By the way, what superstition about fish? That's a new one on me.

[we started with a fish I accidently killed it, I think I do not know, then we had a dog, that chewed everything up, goodbye puppy dog, no one was ever home then we went to a kitty, mean landlord made my husband get rid of shadow I am not going into what happened to all the houseplants, and our baby didn't make it either, miscarried after 2 months, surprised we can take care of ourselves.

Yes I have a cat name Paz. He is wonderful and very playful. My kids love Paz. Never a dull day with our Paz. Ever body should a pet. :cat:

I have a female Boston Terrier named Sammie Jo and a female Pomeranian named Sallee Mae. They are my two "girls" and just love their little personalities and their antics.

I have one dog, she is a mix, mom shitzu dad terrier, she is 6 years old and thinks that she owns me and that she is more my daughter than my own kids, but she is cute, loving and protects like not business, she does not like MEN, and has problems with other dogs, but we could not be without her.

Poodles are supposed to be allergy-free and they come in all sizes.

I have a dog, cat, and a rabbit. The dog is a dalmation/beagle mix, the cat is a tabby, and our rabbit is a dwarf/english spot mix. Although, I'm certain my dog is part drama queen, my cat part monster, and the rabbit part snob/spoiled prince. :thumbsup:
I've also had zebra finches, fish, reptiles, and hamsters as pets before.

We have a rat terrior/heeler mix. He totally understands everything we say! His favorite snack is garlic toast or puffy cheetos. Sadly, we just found out he has cancer and will be leaving us soon. I am so gonna miss him.

We have a black lab mix (Angelica) and 2 cats (Joey & Chloe). Chloe is the strangest cat I've ever had, but completely adorable.

Pets, we acquire them, we get attached to them and they become family members! There are 3 dogs, 3 birds and a fish here in this house, each of them very spoiled and I wouldn't trade them for all the money in the world!

None here, but I do enjoy the pets my grand children have - 2 own a dog & 2 cats. The other 6 live in a rural area where people are always dropping off dogs & cats. My daughter is finally learning to say no (sometimes). They have had goats, pigs, calves. Now they have 3 indoor dogs, I think 2 cats, plus 2 or 3 outdoor dogs & a few chickens. The only thing that bothers me is that my son-in-law loves pits, so they have one & I am sure this will offend some - but I am always afraid it will turn on someone. I can't help my fear of them or a Doberman. (I forgot, & 2 ferrets)

We had a fish, but couldnt keep them alive. Felt life a bad parent. Now looking at getting a dog, possibly a yorkie or shitzu

I have a total of 4 dogs. We had an original Chihuahua but he was stolen.
We have a Shitzu, and 3 puppies from those two - so they are shitzu-chihuahua mixed and oh so cute!

Yes I do own a pet. I have a dog named mickey, he is a sheltie. I also have two fish tanks :thumbsup:

We lost our Buddy dog shortly after I posted this but since then we have a new dog. Another rat terrior/heeler mix named Dolly (we didn't name her) she is 2 years old and her owner passed away. Her and Buddy are as different as night and day but she has wormed her way into our hearts! I did not want to get another dog, especially so soon after we lost Buddy (who we had since he was 6 weeks old) but my husband and daughter wanted another one right away. It was very hard for me at first but I have grown to love her.

Lets see! lol I have an Afghan Hound, a Rough Collie, 2 Chihuahuas, a cat, and I don't know how many aquarium fish! I actually joined FC to earn some extra spending money for my pets. Mainly my Afghan who requires over $40 a month worth of grooming products!

Never have been a pet person. I don't hate pets but a big turn-off are dates who insist treating the animal like it is a person, and only she can read the dog's mind. The last date I was on, my date told me, that she couldn't have me meet her dog, because he was depressed today and was thinking about the divorce she and her second husband had, 8 years ago. I being the gentleman that I am, empathize with her and finished the conversation, then excused myself to go to the bathroom, laughed my *bleep*-off, paid for the meal and left. I am so glad we came in separate cars. The last blind date my friend will ever set-up for me. Pray for my friend. He will be shot at sunrise.
She texts me the next day, Oh you must have misunderstood, I didn't mean our date was over, I meant we couldn't go to my house and have sex. Let's have dinner again, after Macaroni is feeling better and then we can do it right. Let me emphasis this was a BLIND date. I just met the woman.

nope.....too much responsibility and they stink anyway.
I don't hate pets, but I agree, too messy, stinky, smelly, and if I want to go somewhere on a trip, who would watch them. (I live by myself.)

We have a 3 month old Chihuahua, still in the teething stage. I have started blogs, dedicated to puppies and trying to get everyones help in raising him. From stopping his nipping, to paper training him right now. Any ideas or suggestions is always appreciated

I have an orange and white tabby named Kelighja. He's terribly active a lot. He'll chase ANYTHING you throw. Did it as a kitten and now does it as a full grown cat. He also loves attention, BIG TIME. If your hand is just sitting there he'll make you pet him. Or rub his head on you so that he's petting himself! Every time I tell people his name, I ask them if they can spell it. And NO one can spell it right. I made up the name myself and its so funny to hear people attempt to spell it. I also have a chihuahua Angel. She's the most obedient dog...until she see's a bird. Then she goes from :angel12: and I have to yell at her for chasing it out of the yard.

i had a cat named bob, well actually had 3 cats named bob at different times though, makes it easy not to remember names :)... anyway, out next door neighbors had a pitbull they let it run loose and it killed my bob. poor bob came from the shelter had his shots never ever went to the highway , even when i went to the mail box he would just go half way wait on me to return, we took bob to the vet . 300 bucks and he still passed away that night.... called the animal cops of course a week later they just gave the neighbors their pitbull back no fine, nothing...........

My goodness that's horrible. We had these neighbors with HORRID children. And man do I mean horrid. The little boy BEAT one of the dog's in the head with a metal shovel. I was shocked at the environment those dogs were put in. And they're supposed to be "junkyard" dogs. But there are too many kids in the area for them to have aggressive dogs. To top that off, the dogs always got OUT OF THE YARD!!! I mean that's dangerous right? Well not for Fluffy(the dog who got beat in the head) he knew all the kids in the area so he wasn't mean to anyone. All us kids had to go after him and Buddy who always got out EVERY MORNING. Those dogs clearly weren't being treated right and they wanted out. It hurt my heart to have to go put them back in that fence. And then in the winter time they weren't housed properly. Left out in the cold weather ALL WINTER. Then they were fed by dumping a bunch of dog food on the ground and whichever dog ate the most the fastest lived longer. It was horrible. And then they got a GIRL dog and the two males fought. So they gave the girl pup away and got ANOTHER girl dog as if that would solve the problem. It made me sick. We called the Shelter and they told us they'd send someone out. They didn't get out until weeks later and they said all the dogs needed were BRUSHING. I wanted to :BangHead:

I am having five small rabbits. so innocent so loving. i love them so much. i think rabbit is most innocent animal on this earth. :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11:

No...I don't have any pets. However, there is a rabbit that comes out at night and eats grass. It seems the whole neighborhood has adopted this rabbit. No dogs, etc are allowed near it. :wave:

haha i've got 2 dogs & they most definitely own me. id love to adopt or foster more though.

I have a wire fox terrier he is the cuttest and craziest dog he is 5 years old but he acts like he is 5 months ;D and i two turtles they eat all day :P

I have recently cut down on pets... I now have one dog, two cats, four snakes, a 46 gallon fish tank, and one tarantula.

I have 2 pit bull dogs. One boy name Boo Moses he is 3 years old. Fanci a girl and she is 2 years old. :peace:

I have a cat and a turtle. The turtle is extremely mean, always has been since we first got him. The cat just acts like a regular cat and is mostly lazy unless it wants attention.

I have 3 dogs; a golden retriever and 2 pit bull/mini schnauzer/shizzu mix (wierd combo huh?).

I have 2 pets- a cat and a dog. I got the cat about 8 years ago at a humane society. He is solid black and is over 20 pounds! My dog is 3 and also from a humane society and she is fluffy and orange. I love them both dearly.

I have 4 dogs, a cat, and 2 aquariums full of fish! My family use to raise Collies. We would have 20+ dogs when we had litters on the ground! Now of the 4 dogs that we do have, only one is a Collie. We got our cat as a "puppy socializer". He's now our resident mouser.

my parents never let us get pets...jokingly, we were always told that there were already three pets in the house (me and my siblings)...yeah we were pretty rowdy :P

We have a boston terrier. He is 10 yrs old and he rules the roost. He runs all over the house . You would not believe he is 10!

I have a cat....got him when he was about 2 months old. That was 2 1/2 years ago, and he has grown so big and is such a lovebug! Cats are my favorite, but I love all animals. Good luck with your newest addition!

I have 2 GREAT dogs... One black lab (12 1/2 yrs old) and one yellow lab (10 months) Both are girls- labs are the BEST dogs ever, but if you have allergies, they aren't good dogs to get! I have allergies too, but my dogs are my life, so the allergies are worth it!
