I wish it was warmer here so I can roller blade outside, love that. I also like to walk the dogs, and I just started using the total gym that was collecting dust for so long.

I love running...did 6.3 miles today and dropped 2 minutes off my time.

It was 72 degrees today I think and all I did today was pick up all the leaves and trash outside. Not the best thing to do on such a good day, but at least my yard is clean.

Most of my exercise comes from running with my kids playing basketball, soccer, football. I work too much to exercise reguraly for myself.

I also walk a lot when the weather conditions are nice, when they are not I am usually going up and down the stairs doing laundry since the washer and dryer are in the basement, but I also do a lot of different stretches since I seem to spend a lot of time sitting while I am doing my school work, but I have heard that even household chores, such as vacuuming carpets or sweeping floors does have a few exercise benefits! :thumbsup:

I walk whenever I get that chance, though that's not often. I used to lift weights when I had the time - still want to get back into that at some point.

I walk and swim when I can. There are great walking trails near here and so I have been trying to take advantage of those as much as I can.

Well your reply made me laugh out loud that sounds like what I do except it would be crocheting does that count I move my finger and hands a lot well the rest of me just kinda of sits hummm... maybe standing and walking while crocheting would be something to try as long as I do not tangle the yarn :wave:

When its nice I ike to take long walks out.In colder weather I workout indoors with the kids by having them dance and run around.Sometimes I use bands to work my arms.Othertimes I just workout with my spouse ;)

I work! Lol I am a janitor and with all we do we can burn some major calories.

What I do for exercise is I walk, go to the gym, and I do some other kind of work out activities that are good for exercising.

I like to pretend I am a performer on stage and just dance. :D

I love to swim and do yoga. I always prefer to play a sport, any sport. I enjoy tennis, basketball, football, soccer & almost every sport. Get me playing and I will work! I've never been much of a runner but I've always tried.

I usually do bends and stretches at home. Sometimes my wife and I walk the neighborhood.

I play WII, do a lil weight lifting, dancing through the house while I do my house cleaning. When it is nice outside I like to walk, ride bike, softball, horse shoes, tennis, and a few other sports.

I read.
If you have ebooks, or read online (fanfiction...etc.), you can exercise while reading. I set up my ebooks and just start walking in place, adding in kicks, side steps, knee lifts, squats, etc. Sometimes I get my Wii board out and use it as a mini-stepper while reading.
Even better if you have audiobooks, because then you can take them outside with you, provided you have the ability to play them.

I do 200 crunches a day. I then go for a one mile run everyother day. I also go to a local gym with my boyfriend 3 days a week.

I try to walk as much as I can, and taking the stairs, without aggravating my hip injury. :) I also used to use my little 3lb weight during downtimes on the computer or watching tv, I should definitely start that up again.

i'm trying to excercise but its not as easy as it looks.

I do wii fit exercises in winter and go to a apartment gym in summer

I also crochet and do embroidery work and make quilts. I get my finger exercise with that and with the computer.

Well in the winter I walk around Wal Mart, that's plenty of exercise! When it gets warmer out I like to go outside and take walks.

Cardio and weights. I've just started running again! I'm super pumped! I've also learned some new exercises with weights from a class I took last semester so that'll do me a world of good too :D

I do strength training and cardio. Some is for general health, most is for figure skating training. I skate about 5 hours a week (Michelle Kwan, I am not...). Sometimes I practice old dance routines (little hip hop, mostly ballroom - especially the latin routines). Would love to get back into dancing - but I'm trying to stay focused on skating for now.
In the summer, I like to go hiking or boulder scrambling/rock climbing in nearby county and state parks.

You are stepping on my toes! I need to walk more! That's what I mostly do for exercise. I also do power weight lifting.

Walking is really good. I truly enjoy it and like to walk at WalMart in the winter also. My WalMart is almost never busy and my daughter loves it so it's a plus.

I used to go to they gym. But with the health issues that I have a cant do that anymore and with the cost of the gym I had to stop. One of the things I do now is walk at home. I try to make sure that I am doing a little exerise everyday.

I parked the longest distance that I can as I walk to work. I use the steps in my house daily. I play basketball with my daughter. I march around our campus complex at work during lunch twice a week. In other words, I try to keep myself in motion as much as possible.

I generally keep to walking but I also enjoy swimming in the summer and most sports like softball, basketball, vollyball and bowling.

What I do for excerise is to stretch really well than I like to ride the excerise bike for about 15-20 minutes

Mostly Jump rope, walking, push ups.

I am in awe of anyone that can jump rope for exercise. I am a senior citizen so I ride my bike and swim. :)

I read.
Does that count exercising your mind I guess do you walk while you read pedal a stationary peddler while sitting Hummm that is a good idea reading and peddling while sitting that could work what do you think? ;)

according to the website livestrong. at a slow pace you can burn 171 calories an hour just crocheting. the site has some really great tips on other forms of exercise. once it gets warm again I will be back outside walking.

walking, playing on the wii with my kids, and work. while i am at work i walk a lot even if it is just in circles in a small box.

I just joined a gym and I'll be doing Zumba twice a week. For my third workout I think I'll do some cardio on the treadmill as well as lifting weights - only a few months til bikini season!

We have a treadmill and I try to run 3.1 miles about 3 times a week. If I am not running, then I am walking a lot which is good for the body.

Anyone heard of Brazil Butt Lift???
I recently caught it on TV and I ended up rewinding and recording it. Later that day, I took the recording and taught myself some of the moves they showed and I tried them. I can feel my butt working, literally. It feels great and definitely works. Once I am done moving, I am buying it. :)
Anyone else heard of it, has it and tried it, anything?
