Title: Do you have a t.v. set in your bedroom?
Post by: sommap on March 04, 2011, 10:39:47 am: Not me. I have never wanted one there. I have never had one there. I know most people had one and watch it to relax before they go to sleep. I read a book.

I have one in my bedroom, keep it on Christian station. There are so many folks in my home who choose to watch other things. So I value my private time and my tv in privacy.

No; I'm not much of a television person anyway! I am happier just listening to tunes so I have a radio in my room which stays on just about 24/7!

Its okay at least I sleep more not staying up to late watching all the shows I use to. Its okay though if I miss something I can always watch it online right?

Not weird, definitely interesting though. I don't know what I would do without a tv in my bedroom. Don't like to read at night. They say morning is the best time for that. And if I had a computer in my room I think thats just like having a tv.

With all of those televisions we still watch less than 30 minutes (average) of television per day and that includes one 2 hour movie on the weekends.

It’s best not to have one in the bedroom because it can distract you from sleep. Bedrooms should be reserved for rest and sleep and nothing else.

Post by: footemama on March 10, 2011, 03:11:30 pm: I don't have a TV in my bedroom but I will routinely take my laptop in there to watch something on Netflix or to watch a movie with my son in the evenings (less distance to carry him to his bed LOL) Most of the time I read as well since it is just about the only time I get to read for pleasure (rather than for school). :)
