Post by: jamiebonds03 on May 04, 2011, 05:17:05 pm
So what's the price of gas in your area? I live in South Louisiana and the average price right now is about $3.45 per gallon.

Well I guess that I am the unlucky one.  Our price is about 4.25 .  But if I shop around I can sometimes find it for 4.20.  I have been shopping at a groc. store that gives you points so you can get money offf the gas price.

In the North Florida area, it's in the $3.70s and rising, I hope it stops soon.

WOW!!! $4.59??   It's up to $3.69 here now and that's hurting so i couldn't imagine $4.59.
I'd definitely be staying in more often then.

Just heard here in Cali gas will be over 5 a gallon for summer. I think its crazy that gas prices are rising and they just dropped the price per barrel of gas. Doesnt seem fair. Instead of dropping the prices like they are supposed to they once again rose evem though price per barrel dropped.

Exactly! and a few weeks ago there was a link on facebook where plenty of people were supposed to go on strike or something from getting gas on a certain day(don't know what good it would have done) but they should understand that it's easier said then done. People have jobs and other places that they HAVE to get to. It really is a major problem and I wish that we could do something about it but honestly we just can't.

Now that the so called big man is die, maybe gas price will go down. We are at  4.17 on 87 and 91 in some places is 4.45.I would love for gas to be at 3.00 dollars again. That would make my day for sure..

it's still 4.39 where i live in IL but my wife drives to work 20 min north and there it's 4.19.i would not considering driving 20 minutes for 2$savings at the pump but she is going there at work anyway so it helps.
