Title: how often do you take a vacation

we try to take one a year but with my guys schedule at work its hard to do sometimes so what we do is take a weekend every couple of months and just go to the beach or somewhere close to home and just totally relax and take the time to be just the 2 of us no one else and it does help to just forget about everything for the weekend

What's that? I have not had a real vacation in about 5 years. Hopefully soon we will be able to get away!

I try to take vacation once a year. Even if it's only a weekend it's fun and refreshing to get away with family or friends.

I have had ONE official vacation in my life of 63 years. It was GREAT. I owned a time-share in Florida, right on the beach.

This year will be the first year that my family and I take a REAL family vacation. We're going to Walt Disney World in June. I think the kids will really enjoy it, I always wanted to go there as a child but that didn't happen but still I'm happy that I'm able to bring my children.

that is true i have it had a vacation since my mother had pass away in june of 2009!

Before i started working 3 or 4 times a year. fiancees checks got cut so i got a job and this year our vacation will be 3 days long at a local camp site. not much of a vacation but i will take what i can get. We might go away when im on maternity leave. but im not sure if we will have the money. it all depends on whether or not we get bonuses.

I try to take a solo vacation at least once every 2 months or so.  With my kids in school, I usually only take a family vacation every year or so.  Home is nice, but it's always great to get away!

Jamie, have fun at WDW.  It is one of our favorite places to go.  We usually go once or twice a year.

We take a winter vacation to Florida for two weeks and then a summer vacation at a lake for two weeks.

OMG, I haven't had one in years.  All of my PTO has been used up because of hurricanes and power outages, etc.  I have some PTO built up now, so I need to take advantage of it ASAP!

Never really take a vacation - the closest I come these days are church mission trips.  I usually take long weekends every now and then.  The last vacation I had was to a conference in Chicago.

School field trips were the closes i've gotten to a vacation lol would like to take 2-3 vacations a year in the [near] future

FOR BIG VACATIONS LIKE MEXICO,FLORDIA,CALIFORNIA ETC. WE TAKE ONCE A YEAR WITH THE WHOLE ENTIRE FAMILY. FOR SMALL WEEKEND VACATIONS EVERY THREE MONTHS.

The last vacation I took was in 2007, my now husband and I went to Newport and Tillamook, OR. We had so much fun! Can't wait to get back over there.

We try to once a year.  If not we camp a lot in the summer so that is like a vacation.
