I would love to spend time with all my family and friends my grandchildren, a lot of people want to go retire somewhere but if I am in a pretty place but missing all the people i love what is the point

I'll do the same things I am doing now.  I'm not going to wait until I stop working to live my life and do the things I want to do.  Why put your life on hold?  I don't plan on working until I'm elderly (not for anyone else anyway).  If I could retire tomorrow I would.  I don't want to work the rest of my life and I am trying hard not to have to work for a living if I don't want to.
