i enjoy staying at home with my guy curled up on the couch so it would be dvd's the movies to much anymore
-
DVDs, u can rip them and put them on your iPod
-
i like the dvds because you can watch it anytime after you get it
-
Dvds because you can do so much with them and you can see them anytime you want.
-
I'd have to say DVD's because I have restless leg syndome so I'm not able to see a movie. Last time I went and saw a movie I saw Titanic
-
It depends on the movie. If it's something I really can't wait to see, I will see it at the theater. But if it's something that can wait, I will usually get it from Netflix when it is available. Overall though, I prefer DVDs. I find it less expensive than the theater experience. A DVD usually is about $20, whereas when you go to the theater, it's about $20-$25 just for tix. Then you gotta pay for your snacks and drinks and what not. Of course, once you pay all that, it usually turns out that you got the snot-nosed annoying groupie teens in your theater who don't know how to keep their mouths shut. So yeah, I'd rather stay at home, on my big comfy couch, snuggled with my kitty cat.

I prefer DVD, and here are some reasons why:
- After you pay for it once, you can watch it multiple times.
- You can choose the time/day you want to watch it.
- Scenes get removed from movies in theaters to save for the DVD release.
-
definetley dvds i love to keep a collection of my all time fav movies
-
DVDS because you can watch them as many times as you want.
-
Certain movies I like to see in the movie theater and some I can wait until they come out on DVD.
-
Movies, but since I can't afford them I'll settle for dvd's :)
-
I think the dvds because it is so much cheaper and you can have popcorn and beer!
-
dvds cuz i can even lay on the bed to watch, enjoy all the food and even pause when I need to!!!
-
we download most of our movies and we watch A LOT.
so, i would have to say "dvds" ...but i do like going out
to the movies once in a great while, if there's something
worth spending $20 on!
which usually, there's not. we just saw "priest" last night
and it was not my kind of movie, but i actually enjoyed it.
i really liked the plot and the acting... it got a little hokey
towards the end, but i'd definitely watch it again.
-
I love going to movie theater, but it's hard to justify the cost. I usually just wait to rent the dvd and then sometimes purchase it if I like it a lot.
-
Both I like getting out and going to the movies with friends or family, but I do also like watching dvds at my house with family or friends i guess it depends. It also depends on the movie some moves are movie theatre movies
-
I like watching movies on dvd. I can watch it at home and don't have to worry about spending the money for theaters just to have someone annoying a few seats over talking the whole time and ruining the film.
-
Dvds by far! Oh so many reasons why they are better (in my opinion). You can pause & rewind. Watch whenever you have the time and they can be watched practically anywhere. They are less expensive. You don't have to deal with irritating people like you might encounter at the theater. Eat whatever you want while watching (& save money at the same time). And, if it's something you desire to do, they can be watched while nude. :o LOL!

Hey, no fair, this is a trick question. Because I happen to like movies on DVD. So, I guess I like both movies and DVD's. OK, now I get it. Theaters versus DVDs huh? OK, I'll take the DVDs. I love theaters, but you can't stop the movie to go to the bathroom or get more food. You gotta love the "pause" button on the DVD remote. Plus, DVDs are a lot cheaper... I love both, but DVDs just edge out the theater by a nose.
-
The cost for going out to a movie is too high when you can just wait for it, watch it in the comfort of your own home as many times as you want for the same price, pretty much, as seeing it in the theater. DVD/Blu-ray all the way for me.
-
I prefer to go to the theatre to see movies but to save money i tend to watch them at home.
-
I like the experience of going to the movies, but I only do it 1-2 a year. Definitely enjoy the price of dvd's, eating whatever I want, and being able to pause the movie.
-
I like DVD's cause you can watch them when you want, and as often as you want. I do love the theater experience though.
-
Mostly I like DVDs because they are cheaper and can be watched at your own pace. Stopped and started, rewound and rewatched. Movies are great for certain shows but are really too expensive for "everyday" movies.
-
Well they are both made for 2 totally different things, the movies are more for the experience, whereas DVD's are for your own personal pleasure at home anywhere anytime.
-
DVDS who can afford the movies? Not me.
-
I prefer DVD's. I stopped going to movies a long time ago. Some of them are filthy, sticky and just gross.
-
there is movies on dvds so there both the same.
-
DVDs. It's just too expensive to go to the theater.
-
i enjoy going to the movies from time to time but i really prefer dvd's thats true family time with the kids and hey when you have the dvd you can watch it more than once if its a very good movie rather than only being able to watch it once at the theatre
-
DVDs... I can't go to the movies in my underwear.
-
I prefer watching a movie in the comfort of my own home where I can take breaks and not pay for an outrageous $7 on popcorn.
-
much love the dvd! no annoying ppeps. kids can play in other room. the perks are endless
-
I prefer watching DVD's rather than going to the movies! you get to start and stop the DVD anytime you want and the popcorn does not cost $12!!
-
I enjoy both newly released films in the theater and films that are on DVD. Each format has its own benefits.
-
I really like them both. Going to movies often reminds me of having a good time with friends or family but dvd can offer almost free fun. Almost free fun because the dvd was still bought. Sometimes on those rainy days a nice dvd just picks the mood up. I would have to say DVD are better because I get restless in movie theaters.
-
I like both.
-
Dvd's. saves alot of money, and you have your own food at home already.
-
I like dvds most of the time so I can be comfortable while watching but I do like going to the movies when the movie has good special effects and epic music.
-
dvd sicne i like watching it at home with my family while eating dinner
