I found that article and thought it was sad, but I'm not sure what to believe.  What do you think about the article and about Global Warming?  ???

My problem with global warming is if we are going to discuss global warming then why not global cooling we had the coolest winters in the United States in at least the last 20 years and not everything is caused by global warming?

Don't concern yourself too much about global warming.  God has plans for this earth.

This was covered in science back when I was in school. There's a huge difference between climate and weather.  I think it's better to call it climate change. I like to keep an eye every now and then on NASA's Goddard Institute. I think it's easy for a lay person like me to understand.

I think Global warming/climate change whatever you want to call it is a complete scam. It's pretty arrogant to think that we can have such an impact on this planet. The planet has endured a lot worse than humans. The whole concept of global warming is just a scam by the banksters that run things behind the scenes to control and rob people. Do you think the planet is going to be like "Damn, these humans keep polluting, it's a a real problem. Wait, they're paying their carbon tax, so it's all good." It's just another mechanism to force people to live a certain way.

It has already been discovered and/or proven that much of the data used to promote this BIG LIE was FALSE data.

How egotistical of us mere humans to think that we could have such a BIG effect on God's Creation. I say ---- Hogwash.

Whatever superstition helps you sleep at night I suppose. But we're talking about global warming and things around the idea. Take your ancient speculations to a religious thread.

Like what?

Meteoroids. Specifically the Chicxulub crater in the Yucatan Peninsula. Decimated a lot of the earth.
(aka the dinosaur-killer)

We had an enormous one 100 years ago in Siberia but it paled in comparison to the above.

I'd say humanity acts more like a slow-virus that can actually stabilize itself to prevent the death of the host (earth) whereas an asteroid is more like a freight-train smashing into that host. Crazy stuff, eh? I'm more worried about overpopulation than various data on global warming atm though. Overpopulation is guarenteed to stretch this planet thin of practically every resource. Which leads me to my point-

This type of thinking will be the death of us.

Sorry I didn't read the article cause I'm feeling lazy today, so I'll just give my opinion....I think this whole global warming thing could be just a natural cycle. I heard that not only is Earth heating up, but the other planet as well. Now there's no power plants and fume spewing cars on Mars or Jupiter, so something in the cosmos is happening.

Yes, an attitude like that is going to do wonders for humanity in a few decades.   ::)

Spot on there, Falconer. All these believers with their heads in the sand (coming up only to make more babies because ya know God made us for that purpose alone as their Bible says) will be unable to 'pray us out' of poverty, starvation, and death by our own hands. Ignorance just infuriates me! >:(

HAAAA! Are you kidding me???? Soooo what kind of messed up plans did "God" have for the midwest during this Tornado season@??@?@?@  I think you dont understand anything, because Nature is Nature, and your "God" has nothing to do with it. The earth has plans for itself and if it feels like taking us down with global warming, or any other natural disaster, guess what? We're going down.  Coincidentally, the midwest is one of the most "HOLY ROLLING" areas in the U.S.  Now, exactly how is it that the midwest always gets destroyed by nature's fury almost every year????

I think Global Warming is a serious problem.  We need to take better care of the environment.

For every scientist that supports global warming, there's another one to refute it. I think it has become a money-making, fashionable thing with celebrities that don't even read scientific research.

Follow the money when it comes to Global warming.  It is a big conspiracy. Jesse the Body Ventura says so.  I believe him because he can beat me up.

This is so sad but so true. Now people just wanna make money off of serious stuff instead of focusing on the important [arts. Like the Cancer cure found in Canada...

I'm currently taking an Ecology class and we're learning about global warming, and I used to be skeptical but now I see that it's real and we are part of the cause. We need to start reducing, reusing, and recycling.

I think Americans need to get off their stubborn behinds and start electing people who will make a top priority of solving this problem before we make our planet uninhabitable.
