Title: It's that time of year again, Graduation!
Post by: janel217 on June 07, 2011, 07:24:03 am
Does anyone have any children graduating? Well my son will be graduating on Thursday from elementary  and he will be going to middle school next semester. I'm not crazy about the school board here in California allowing 6th graders to  go junior high.

I feel sorry for the economy of this country when all of the high school grads are released onto the streets with minimal knowledge. Did you know there are some high school grads that can't say their ABC's, or count to 100 or name the vice president of the United States! God Please bless Us!

Yeah it is really sad that so many of our children leave school, and don't know how to survive in this crazy world we live in. Parents need to need to step up and stop foley depending on the teacher to teach their children and take some initiative and be involved.

My son will not be graduating but he will be turning 13 and entering the 8th grade! I will be graduating from college in October with my Masters in Education.  :)

I agree with you there. Then it doesn't help when the state cuts the education budget then expects teachers to still be able to give students a quality education. What happened to people actually caring about what students are learning and whether or not they can read or write?
