Title: Question about vacation

This summer I'll be visiting family in another state. I'll have my laptop with me, but I don't want to jeopardize my account by logging in from another IP address out of state.

What do people usually do in this instance? Are you allowed to log in from another area, or is it best just to forfeit the week's worth of PTC and daily emails?

Very good question!  If the IPS is a community one, do not use it.  If it belongs to your friends or family and they have never belonged to FC and never intend to join FC in the future, you are safe to use it.

But if you're willing to take the time, tell them about FC and have them join as your referral and spend some of your time showing them the ropes so you'll have an active referral!

You need to have your referral link available so copy it down and carry it with you.

Thanks so much! I'm thinking I may just forfeit the PTC and daily emails for the week I'm gone. I was concerned about the bolded sections in the Terms:

You may not access your FusionCash account on the same computer or internet connection as your referrer, referral, or any other FusionCash user. Violation of this term may be considered grounds for disqualification of any and all users involved.

I'm going to be staying with my sister out of state, and I'm hoping to get her to sign up as a referral. So if she signs up under me, then we can't both be coming from the same IP.

I travel daily for work and I'm in a different city at least four times a week.   I take my laptop and sign into FC everyday no matter where I am.  I use hotel and airport connections. I have no problems.

You've been lucky.  If anyone else using FC decides to do the same thing, both of you will lose your accounts if you happen to use the same ISP.

@dreamyxo - Thanks for letting me know, that's interesting.

I'm still thinking of just forfeiting for the week. I'll be too busy to do anything online other than the daily email and PTC when I'm gone, so I'll only be losing 1.19 for the week if I forfeit. That's easy enough to make up by slugging through some surveys and tasks when I get back.
