Title: Idea to improve survey efficiency
Post by: aaeeiioouu on June 18, 2011, 07:27:26 am
Pretty much every survey needs basic information that you need to enter every time. If there was a way to "pool" this information for each member, then this information could be entered into each survery ahead of time. This would likely increase the amount of people doing surveys.

Sometimes surveys are also frustrating because you get like 8 minutes in and then they pull the plug because you don't qualify. If there was a general information form that could somehow transmit to the sites, this would happen less.

I suppose this could lower traffic to CashFusion because people wouldn't be constantly checking for available surveys. But, this could be offset by the members who might be added by such a system that saves the members time and hassle.

Do you mean something that would have our personal information stored?

I definitely like where you are going with this because I too get so tired of filling out the basics every time and sometimes 5 times at the same survey offer site til I get a survey I qualify for. But I think that FC probably gets paid off of how long it takes us to do the survey or how many answers we supply, something in that sort so they need to make money too

Yes, it does get monotonous having to enter the same info over and over and over....it IS time consuming.  Although I would be a bit hesitant about having my personal info stored...I would want to be sure it was secure...if there is a safe way to do what you are suggesting, I'm all for it.

Instead of storing the info, why not give a token $0.01 or $0.02 for going through the trouble of entering all the demographic data and being rejected?

There is a point based survey site advertised and promoted by FC that will give you 5 points just for trying.

If you qualify , you would just get the announced reward and not the "thanks for trying" bonus.

I think that it is kind of monotonous to enter the same things over & over but unless they can promise true security it's probably the best option.

I hate entering in the same information too, but these surveys aren't hosted by Fusion Cash, so they have no control over this. Fusion Cash is an affiliate site of the surveys, so they are all hosted at separate places.  You can enable form history in your browser so that you can just click in the field and pull your information from the drop down, or you could use an extension like LastPass or RoboForm if it really bothers you to enter the information in.

I agree with this. I think it should be optional whether you want it stored or not just bc some ppl dont like the basic info being stored in the system but for others this is a great idea. I dont see why it would lower to much traffic but i think it would help fc bc then ppl may stay on the site instead of giving up. SO i think in the long run it would be really beneficial to FC. GREAT IDEA!!!

No thanks I'd rather reenter the information. I think most survey companies also use the past info you used on the surveys to have a clue on whether you are trying to scam them or not. Of course I could be wrong about that...

No, you are correct. Survey companies most definitely keep track of survey takers and how thorough they are and if they can be counted on to be diligent in their work. I've received other offers from survey companies for extra work. I believe it to be because I'm very detailed, take my time, and very honest in my survey work. I don't mind reentering my information each time. I make sure everything is consistent with each survey entry. Not to say that something wouldn't change like yearly income, or marital status, but being inconsistent would be a red flag if it was something you changed from survey to survey.

I've taken surveys for Brainjuicer that will have sentences that other people have entered who have previously taken the survey. You can either click on one of their responses or type out your own. Some of the answers are gibberish like:  "asdfcmjf3475" for an answer. So you know they were just rushing through the survey with no thought of being honest. Just to get credited.

I like the idea of being granted a fracture of the incentives for those who provide a lot of info on surveys just to find out that you don't qualify.

Anything that would keep us from getting "cheated" several minutes into a survey would be helpful.

I have a question, after you go over 25.00$ are you allow to keep added money or do they cash you out at 25.00& then you get the rest the next month after? Thanks

You choose when to cash out.  That is just the minimum you need to cash out.

I'm all for some type of credit for at least trying to qualify for surveys.  There are so many that take you through several pages of demographic info, then what seems like your taking the actual survey only to be told you don't qualify.  I can understand where it would not be cost effective for FC to pay any amount for the failed attempts....but maybe those could be put onto some sort of point system...you earn point credits that over time would add up to get a gift card some people in another thread had indicated they have interest in.  Don't take away the cash payments, but add points that could be traded in for some type of bonus.  Example:  You qualify and complete a survey, get credited the indicated dollar amount.  You attempt a survey, but are disqualified for whatever reason, but get a point for each attempt.  After you have accumulated 500 points, you can trade in those points for a $10 Amazon (or whatever company) gift card.

Surveys are the hardest things to qualify for.  I answer their questions and they direct me to a survey than all of the sudden I don't qualify.  It does get fustrating.  There seems to be alot of this which I don't understand because I am sure we are all of different age and ethic back rounds and work in different fields of employment, it makes me wonder what exactly they are looking for to qualify.

I use Norton's Anti-Virus software that will automatically fill in forms for me with my personal information.  It is very convenient!  I highly recommend it to anyone who fills out a lot of personal forms.
