Do you prefer living in town/suburbs or in the country? Why? :peace:
-
I live in the city. It's a small town. But I would prefer the country. It's more open and less people. Not that I mind the people.I would just like to have a space with the house way back off the road. And be able to have a big garden.
-
I'm a city person all the way. I like to have tons of places to go, and lots of options when it comes where to shop.
-
Country because I am planning to have a big garden.
-
I prefer the suburbs - you get both the city and country feel.
-
I like the suburbs myself - I'm close to shopping but I have horses 3 miiles down the road. It's like getting the best of both worlds.
-
I THINK I PREFER THE CITY. I THINK IT WOULD BE SOOOO BORING IN THE COUNTRY, THERE WOULD
BE NOTHING TO DO BUT RIDE HORSES AND TIP OVER COWS. LOL ;D
-
I grew up in one of the biggest cities in Asia. I lived in the suburbs ever since I was 11 up until yesterday. Now I'm back in a huge city - Cambridge, MA :D
-
I prefer to live in the city because it looks like you can get bored living out in the country and I like to see people; I like to be closer to all the stores.
-
I prefer the country...much, much better than the city. Cities are too crowded...too polluted!
-
I have lived in both the city and in the country! I like living the country better, and that is where I live now
-
Country - more peaceful!
-
i would perfer the country,,a few miles out of the city :peace:
-
Depends - sometimes I feel like I'd like to live in a city more, other times I feel like I'd love to live out in the country, secluded and on my own. I kind of have the best of both worlds right now, living in the suburbs. There are cities close enough that if I want that experience, I can go, and there are places nearby where if I want to go to a park or (if I really want to get away from it all) go to the mountains alone I can.
-
city. because everything is closer together and not miles away from everything in the country. but it is nice to go and stay in a peaceful small town! :icon_rr:

COUNTRY
I live in the country which is perfect since it is only minutes away from the city. It is the best of both worlds!
-
im not sure yet. all i know is i want my house built.
-
I've lived in both and I am totally a city girl!!! The country, every 1 knows everything about you, true or not. There is way too much drama in those small country towns. In the city, nobody cares what you are doing as long as you arn't bothering them. :bunny:
-
city since it's easy transportation
-
WE love liiving in the country, no neighbors, big gardens and place to walk wioth out getting hit. And you know whos car is coming from the sound of the motor.
-
Actually, I prefer a combination of both. I live on the edge of Cedar Rapids Iowa which has about 150,000 people and my kids live 5 minutes away in a small town. So I get the best of both worlds. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd have to take the city. It's nice always having something different to do if you choose to.

I live here in NYC and I love it. However, there are times when I can not take it. I do go to the country once in awhile, but I could never live in the country. It's good to have a get away though.
-
I live in the city and thought I would always be a city girl when I was younger. Then I got older and found out I don't want people constantly being around me. I like the space and the quiet of the country. I hope to be able to purchase some land some day out in the country, but still close enough to a city that I can get the things I need and occasionally go to places I want to see.

I grew up on a farm and loved it! We had chores to do but plenty of
free time. We had dogs and cats and a horse to play with and lots
of room to run, hide, build forts, play games!
We live in a small town (4500). Our house is on the edge of town so
I get the best of both worlds. I can walk out my front door and go for
a walk on sidewalks and bike paths. If I walk out my back door I can
go for a walk down the country gravel road.
When the girls were young, we boarded horses in the farmer's pasture
behind our yard. It was perfect!! Whistle to the horses, walk them
through our backyard to the garage and saddle them up. We rode
both in town and in the country.

I think I would love to have both! A townhouse in the city and a cottage in the country. Wouldn't it be lovely to spend the weekends in nature where it's beautiful with trees and animals and a lovely breeze sitting on the porch drinking lemonade.Yes, oh yes, but I love the city with the restaurants and the shopping and the hustle and bustle and the cafes and the music and the dancing. Ah yes, the city! I think I may be a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. :) 8)

Oh I much prefer cities or towns! I have lived in both, country and city/town... I hate not being by everything and everyone, but in the same breath, it was very very peaceful in the country... but I still prefer the city! =)
-
I am country born---- and I'm proud.------Sometimes I get drunk and sometimes I get loud----but I'm country born and I'm proud.------I like soup beans, taters and corn bread.----Thank the lord, I'm country fed.
-
While the city has all the comforts one would need, I would chose the country. It's quiet, and it's a good way to watch the stars at night because there's not as much light pollution as in the city. :)
-
I love in a small rural county out in the country i have 6 acres and all then privacy i want its so peaceful here and i just couldnt live anywhere else.
-
always CITY!
-
I like the country because I can listen to nature the way it was meant to be.
-
If I had a car the country by the lake
-
I think for me it's a case of the grass is greener on the other side. When I'm in the city, I want things to slow down. When I'm in the country I get upset when I have to drive far to get groceries!
-
live in a town, with my own farm, offer food for self. less noise,
-
The town! I currently live in what I consider the suburbs and it is just sooo boring somtimes.
