I cook for my family every night and I'm not talking about hamburger helper lol. I don't work so I have time to and I know not everyone does. So how often do you make a homemade meal? What's your favs?
One of my kid's favorites is homemade pizza. If anyone wants my recipe let me know

We cook our diner every night. We have something different each time too.
-
Almost every day, but I do eat plannedovers for a day or so.

I cook at home most nights a full meal. There are nights where I might reheat left overs or homemade soup. Luckily, I have the time since I don't work. Cooking at home also helps me stay healthy since I have celiac which means NO GLUTEN ALLOWED. Sometimes ordering a meal at a restaurant can be a hassle. I also have to worry about cross contamination. It's easier if I can find a menu online that can help. There are several restaurants with a gluten free menu either there or online. Some are Chilis, Pei Wei, and Outback Steakhouse.

I don't ever really cook, only noodles and rice type stuff.
-
i do the same think to :notworthy:

Pretty much every night. Some nights are simple but one weekends I go all out.

I cook almost every night. I live alone so sometimes it's just a salad or something simple. I've learned to get back to basics and eat healthier so that means cooking from scratch without all the preprocessed foods now a days for the busy on the go family. I try to eat a lot of fruits and veggies for dinner as that is the last meal of the day and can be very heavy on your stomach before bedtime. If I'm just craving something before bed, something a half slice of watermelon will not keep your stomach digesting for hours after you have fallen asleep.
I found something out just lately quite by accident. I've been bothered with some acid reflux, and watermelon is good for that, and will not further upset your intestinal tract.

I usually only cook at home when I am broke! I discovered this thing called an oven the other day. Here I thought it was another pantry. Hmmmmmmm.
-
we eat at home all but 1-2 times/month, I cook at least 5-6 nights/week, the other nights might be something a bit more convenient or quick

I have a great wife, but when it comes to cooking the stereotype doesn't work for her. She apparently never learned how to cook from her mother and neither did I. Both of us try to experiment in the kitchen, but the results are lackluster more often than not. I need to get a cook book and surprise my family with something awesome.
-
I try to cook, I really do... but I'm hopeless in the kitchen. I stick to the super easy recipes for the majority of the week, then leftovers. Weekends are for going out and eating real food :)
-
If any of y'all need an easy recipe let me know. I'd enjoy trading em.
-
I cook maybe once a month. I hate cooking, so I do as less as possible.
-
I live in a retirement apartment building. We have a nice dining room. I will bring my dinner to my apartment to heat it up again.
-
We cook at home as much as we can. It's gotten to be way too expensive to eat out very much anymore. I really do enjoy cooking different things anyway.
-
With me being laid off we cook at home everyday. Have to save money somehow.
-
I cook at home everyday because it's just healthier and it's cheaper than ordering or going out. To make a real three course meal doesn't even take as long or cost as much at home when you prepare it yourself, than if you go out. Besides, I've always enjoyed cooking because even if I don't know exactly how to prepare a dish, my mother is always available to guide me through until I get the recepie correct.
-
I also cook every day .... well on Sunday's we usually go to my inlaws after church but I do make a contribution with a dish or sometimes make the entire dinner. Our favorite is homemade pizza too!!! Friday night is always pizza night. I try to make it as healthy as possible .... even tried whole wheat crust once but prefer the white crust .... with a little parmesan cheese added to the dough.

About four days out of the week.
-
I cook dinner maybe 4 times a week, my husband cooks like twice a week and we get take out food or go out to eat once a week :)
-
I eat at home at least 6 days a week, at times you could actually call it cooking...lol I roast a chicken at least once per week then the other meals are decided by what's on sale during week. Plenty of spinach salads...lol

I often cook about five times a week because It's an art to me. I love to make meals my family enjoy. :)

I am a newlywed so I cook pretty much everyday for my Hubby and kids.
-
I am trying to do more cooking at home for health reasons and to save money.
-
I try to cook whenever I can, but sometimes it's easier just to go out to eat. But, I think economically, it would be cheaper to eat and cook at home most at the time . I enjoy making tacos, spaghetti, and chili. My Mom's chili recipe is so good and I had to start making it at home.
-
I cook at home all the time (if there's something to cook). Even on the off chance I get something from a fast food drive thru or go to a sit-down restaurant, chances are that I've still already cooked at least one meal at home that day.
-
Just about every night. I only order out when I have had a really long day.
-
All the time. Fast food makes me sick and we rarely get it. Last night we did because it was passed 9 and I'm not going to cook a meal that late. And we were also very tired/ready for bed.
-
I work second shift 4 days a week so i try and cook on my days off but the time isnt always there
-
i cook breakfast a couple times a week. but for lunch and dinner whenever i feel like it
-
I cook once in a while. I love to cook, but hate to clean
-
I cook just about everyday. It's just too expensive to eat out with our two boys. All they want to eat are french fries. I plan out menus for up to 2 weeks using the store ads and whatever i have in my freezer. I like to make pizza and chicken tenders from scratch. Much cheaper than takeout. Although i do like to have Chinese food every once in awhile.
-
I'm a stay at home mom, I cook at home every day. I kinda feel like it is part of my job, even tho I really enjoy doing it

I cook most everything from scratch including all of our bread. It has been really hot this summer though and my husband and I have agreed that until it gets cooler we will be buying our bread lol !
-
I rarely ever cook, but when i do I only cook simple stuff hahah, yeah I'm not good at cooking :-[
-
We cook daily it's cheaper and more healthy for us. We know what's in the food and the cooks and waiter/ress won't spit in our food for whatever reason, lol.
-
I always cook dinner, and I cook breakfast about 4 days of the week cuz we have fresh eggs, than the kids like to eat ceareal so most of the time twice a day.
-
When I see my husband reaching for a jar of peanut butter and jelly. it is time to cook. but working don't make you wanna cook as much as if you were home all day.
