Title: After being single for 12 years, how and where to start and what to say?

Ready to start going on a date but what would the  conversation be about?  I am not into sports, and neither am I a movie buff - I mean I like only typical romantic type of movies but not everyone like only romantic movies...I go cold after the formal introduction - any ideas???
