Title: Derek Jeter not blessing the All-star game with his presence?

Mr. I-hit-3000-New-york-pays-me-better-than-an-oil-sheik is too good to at least make an appearance for the fans that pay his on-godly salary?  Seriously...it isn't like he is the home run king.  Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Lou Gerig, and Joe Dimaggio belong in the hall of fame not only for being better ball players than DJ but because they knew what side of their bread the butter was on and actually loved their fans.  Today's professional athletes, in general, are non-appreciative pampered babies...especially baseball.

there's a lot of great players not playing in the game.....besides, maybe it doesn't mean the same as it used to......

i'll tell u why jeter is not showing up. because its for the allstars players. even jeter knows hes over rated
