i keep getting requests to complete surveys from Mysurvey.com; however I am not getting credit on Fusion cash for these surveys?

i got credit almost immediately after registering

You will get credit for surveys completed on FC if you start them from the Daily section of FC's offers.

If you get survey notices by email from MySurveys then you will get credit for those completed survey on your MySurveys account --  they are not credited back to FC.

When you signed up for MySurvey via the FC offer, you would have gotten credit to your FC account for the signup, but any survey completed with MySurveys goes to your MySurveys account.
