So sorry to hear about your mother.  Go and spend every minute with her that you can and tell her how much you love her and thank for everything she has done for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  I am also praying everyone knows Jesus as their Saviour.  If so, this won't be a goodbye, just a see you later.  I have such a comfortable feeling when I have had to let loved ones go on to Jesus but knowing where they will be when I get there makes it a little easier.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom.  You and your family will be in my prayers.

As for how to say goodbye, I would say that is highly personal.  I remember after my mom died my sister and father and I were talking about it, and after planning the funeral we had a bit of a laugh when we realized that if my mom were there and had a say in it, she would have made us play "Another One Bites the Dust" at her funeral.  That was, of course, my mom and her quirky sense of humor.  I imagine it's completely different for each person and family.
