Title: Simon Cowel vs. American Idol

What is the difference between Simon Cowell’s new show and American Idol?  He’s just being rude to people as they sing so why did he even bother to leave American Idol?  What could this new show give him that he could not get from American Idol?  Yes, his new show he created but seriously.  To take Paula Abdul with him just means its American Idol 2.  How is that going to make a hit?  Who wants to watch him do the same thing he did on American Idol?
