Title: Can anyone suggest me which is the best digital camera!

Any suggestions for good Digital camera in the market..I want to gift it to my parents..

I've had my Canon Powershot SD1100 for over 2 years now and it has never failed me-- i go on a lot of rough hikes and trot around cities so I've dropped it quite a few times. Amazing peice of tech imo. Pretty cheap too. Highly recommend it. Also, unless you're a professional photographer, you probably won't need more than 6-8 megapixels so don't get caught up in the "BUT THIS ONE HAS 20 MEGAPIXELS AND IT'S ONLY 10$ MOAR!!!!!11!!!1!!" Those pictures will only take up more space on your HD.

Sorry, no. I am not tech savvy at all and no very little about cameras.

I've had good results with Canon.
