I generally take Energy drink & avoid coffee. Which type of caffeinated beverage do you drink to stay awake?

I a soda type of person, so either a diet coke or diet pepsi. Energy drinks haven't interested me much. I tried an AMP, but couldn't completely get interested in it.

I used hot tea to make it through college lectures, Jolt cola to make it through exams and coffee to prepare for races. I loved Diet Pepsi and Schnapple and they usually kept me buzzing. For energy, these days, I use five hour energy shots because they don't mess with my heart and help me glide through three to four hour runs with out much thought about exhaustion. Nowadays coffee is a treat on weekends and a little picker upper before work.

Yes sometimes i will get a cup of coffee. Gotta have it.

I think that those caffeinated drinks are not worth it. They are good for the few hours you get a buzz of them but then as in everything artificial, you will get a "crash" and nothing is a replacment for rest.

My caffeinated beverage for as long as I can remeber has been Dr. Pepper.
