Did you read about the yankee fan who served a boston pitcher with child support papers right before the game?  thats funny, talk about getting in the head of the opposing pitcher

How can you really get excited about a team that's consistently very good, since their payroll is larger than that of some Third World nations?  It's not like the Yankees being in the playoffs is anything new.

Now, I'm from Cleveland, and although I may be slightly bitter I think my point still stands.

I remember pulling for the Yankees as a boy when Yogi and Whitey and Mickey and Roger were the Boys Of Summer. :)

Congrats to the Yankees, but they haven't accomplished anything yet.  I am a Phillies fan and the Phillies clinched a week ago or so.  But they are in the same boat, if they don't win the world series then it was a horrible year.
