Title: Not getting "start new topic" option on other forum categories

the only time I get to start a new topic is in the "support"....why not in the others?

Hi,

In order to get "start new topic" option you need to reply to an existing post first.For instance, after I reply to this post I will have the option to start a new topic.

Hmm, I have no idea why you said what you did as far as "you need to reply to an existing post first". This has nothing to do with it. As long as you are logged into the site, you can go to any section you want and you will see the Mark read/Start new topic at the top right area above the section itself. You can start a new one anytime you want, wherever you want, without making a reply first.
So, loriecampbell, maybe you just haven't noticed where the option is? Maybe take a look at where I mentioned, as long as you ARE logged in, and see if it's there. If it's not, I have no idea why. ;)
