Title: Do you watch the Macy's Tranksgiving parade?
Post by: sommap on November 18, 2011, 09:04:36 am: I have just caught bits and pieces of the parades in the past years. I love to see all the big balloons. Unfortunately I am pretty busy cooking and getting the big dinner ready at that time.

It's in New York City on Thanksgiving day. You can watch it on tv. :D

Post by: madeara on November 19, 2011, 04:07:07 pm: The Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is terrific. We watch the parade every year. At some point in the future, I want to go to New York and watch the parade live. I think seeing the parade live would be great. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Post by: pstovall on November 19, 2011, 04:45:26 pm: I don't think that I've ever sat down and watched the whole parade at once, but it is part of the Thanksgiving tradition at our house and it wouldn't be the same if the TV weren't on in the background. Then I can stick my head around the doorway and see a float or two whenever I can get away from the kitchen. When we visit New York and get to shop at Macy's, I try to picture the parade in front of the store and try to decide in which direction it goes and which street it's on! Would be great to see it live.
