What's your opinion?
-
I'm an Android fan, due to the high level of customization you can get. Apple makes a darn good product though.
-
Iphone is better and original. Android copies iphones and tries to improvised. There's a saying that goes by, "dude you're trying too hard...you're losing it!" lol at Android with the updates over and over again ::)
-
Iphone all the way. I have had one for years. I have friends who own Androids and they keep having to replace them because they malfunction and have problems.
-
Droid is cheaper, but I still like iPhone, especially since I have a ton of other apple products (computer, ipod, etc.) so it fits well/is very complimentary...guess that's part of how businesses work
-
Iphones are so much better. Droids act like they're better but they're really not.
-
I like the iphone the most
-
I would chose the Droid because it's a bit more simpler.
-
I thing iphone is the best in many ways it has many apps ......
-
I would say Iphone since im a dummy when it comes to tech :)
-
iPhone
-
DROID ALL THE WAY
-
As I said earlier on another post...I had a Droid for about 5 days then traded for the much more user friendly iphone. Droid doesn't hold a charge long enough. :BangHead: :BangHead:
-
Iphone is top of the line imo but droid isn't bad. Depends on which you like when you actually have it in your hand.
-
I think Iphones are better, but it seems that Droids have more free apps.
-
Since I don't work, it means I have nowhere to go and all day to get there, so I am happy with my Vonage and the Internet on my desktop. It saves me a ton of money too.

I work for Verizon Wireless. I have had plenty of exposure to both of these. All you guys that say Android has too many problems just haven't owned enough Apple products. Every phone has issues I don't care who makes it. Android isn't perfect and neither is Apple. To those of you who say Android copies the iphone, what about SIRI? What about the notification slide down screen? Both of these were just released with the iphone 4s but were both used by Android for years before. For me it comes down to cost in the long run and support. I can tell you the facts. iphone insurances are twice as high. The deductible is twice as high if you have to use it. If you are having an issue with Android and bring it in a Verizon store I can fix it. If you bring an iphone in the store you may get some help but not much can be done. Apple doesn't like anyone messing with their products so nobody except for an Apple employee is supposed to touch it. Thats why the totally encased the iphone so you can't remove the battery, can't remove storage such as an sd card. Plus if you go to Apple they are going to charge you to fix it. And i like free stuff. Apple and Android have about the same amount of total apps, but Android has over twice as many free apps. GPS for instance is free with Android. Same app requires a $50 purchase with the iphone. You can't get free music with an iphone. I have about $2000 worth of music on my Android if I would have bought it through itunes but it was all free. No removable battery and storage is a biggie for me as well. A simulated battery pull by pushing the home button and power button simutaneously is not the same as an actual battery pull. Last but not least most people out there believe that because it's called an iphone 4 means it is ran on a 4G network. That's not true. Apple has no plans for a 4G product til at least the iphone 6. 4G is 10 times as fast as 3G. You can download a song in as little as 4 seconds on 4G. No more buffering when streaming video. 4G is just better. I'm done with my book now. Android all the way.
-
Android must be the better choice from what I see, read and hear about iPhone and Android. That is nice to know
-
My opinion is very simple, iPhone hands down. All the others are mere knock offs.
-
Droid rules all, like others have said it's all about the customization and freedom to do what you want with your phone. I-products are very reliable because they basically strip all the freedom away from you making sure nothing goes wrong. Freedom over someone holding my hand, any day.
-
Iphone is betterrrrrrr
-
Quite honestly it doesn't matter to me, I'm not paying a ridiculous amount of money on a phone I say hello on....I have a phone a computer and a television, I don't need it all in one, that's why there are so many accidents now, no one is paying attention to the road they are to busy watching an episode of Jersey shore on their phone....lol
-
Haha, but not everyone watches jersey shore :P I have a droid and i'm considering an iphone. My phone has given me so many problems and it restarts itself all the freaking time! :BangHead:
-
I don't really want a iPod that can make calls! DROID RAZR all the way! Plus Apple hasn't really changed iOS much it all looks the same just with different hard-ware
-
Also Siri is a gimmick most people dont use it much, read this great article about it! http://www.phonedog.com/2011/11/30/after-a-month-and-a-half-i-have-only-used-siri-a-handful-of-times/
-
I don't have either, but from what i've seen, iPhone is definetely better. Why Because it has the world's best app store.
-
personally, I like the iphone better. it's easier to use and i have no need for all those fancy functions on droid.
it also has more things like cases, covers, apps etc made custom to it whereas droid has so many different phones there's less variety for each phone.
-
ofcourse a droid. every phone has its flaws for example iphone dont have flash player...
-
There is so much hype for the Iphone and all of there techniqual problems... it's still a good phone but im about to get the HTC which is like a dream phone.

Good post...seems like all the others have no clue!
-
I have both. Droid's are so much better! Apple is good at marketing and convincing "consumers" that its product is superior when it really isn't. most of the stuff Apple "introduces" is actually old...in other countries such as South Korea, those "new technologies" have been out for years (facetime, siri, mobilewallet) just under different names.
My droid is faster, cheaper, smarter and easier than my iphone..which is why I gave it to my husband..he is a "consumer" and believes whatever the media tells him anyway...
-
I have an iphone and my sister-in-law and her husband have droid. I like mine and they like theirs too.
-
Since my last post my phone has restarted 8 times...by itself. I think I'm getting an iphone..
-
I haven't tried either. However, CNet compared iphone to HTC Droid incredible. It looks like they think the Incredible is better. You can check it out http://reviews.cnet.com/2722-6452_7-559.html (http://reviews.cnet.com/2722-6452_7-559.html)

droid i always wanted a droid phone for verizon
-
I love my Droid. Very cool features and apps. :icon_rr: :peace:
-
I picked up an HTC droid one year ago and my daughter got an Iphone at the same time. I like the ability to take my sim card and put it into any phone that I like as well as all of the free applications. The Iphone is cool and I love the music applications way better. I have an Ipod and Itouch and love their functionality from the stand point of battery power and daily organizers but I also really appreciate the windows based droid. Tough call when it comes time for me to renew.
-
i go with droid.... the new thin droid... :icon_rr:
-
I've had an android phone for the past 3 years so I'm going to go with Android. I may eventually try an Iphone to see which I really prefer but at the moment I'm happy with what I have.
-
After having the iPhone since its release and getting tired of some of the quirks, I switched to a Droid HTC Evo Shift. Made it less than 3 months before I switched back. I hated it.
-
I am guessing that people will tend to prefer the one that they use first and therefore the one they are familiar with. You really can't go wrong with either one.
-
Droid
-
:dontknow: i dont have either but everyone i know say's get a Droid
-
It probably depends on what model Droid you get..I'm sure some are better than others. Same with Iphone (1-4s)
-
Thanks everyone! I still think I'm going to get an Iphone. :angel12:
-
I dont know much about either device. I cant afford them. Ive seen them advertised, but dont really have a preference.

I have an Andriod smartphone, and personally, I love it!!
It's all about what you prefer. I love google and I use almost all google prodcuts. Andriod is produced by google and google apps are pre-downloaded onto your phone. So for those google lovers, I highly recommend buying an Andriod.
But for those apple lovers, I guess you should consider the i-phone.
The downside for EVERY smartphone (android or i-phone) is weak battery life!! That's virtually the ONLY problem/flaw smartphone have nowadays.

droid
-
I like Droid much better and I'm saving up to get a Motorola Droid Razr. It is the same price as the iPhone 4S.
I already had an eight gb iPod Touch and a iPod shuffle and nano. Also, I have an iPad. I think the formatting is so much cooler on Android.
With all my experiences with Apple, I think Apple is just a popular brand and it will lose its popularity soon.
The Android Razr is thinner than the iPhone. Its cool features are that it's waterproof (even the insides) and the glass is scratch-resistant. And it is very hard to break. The screen and phone are bigger and it will be able to run on Ice Cream Sandwich. DROID!!!
*someone else in the crowd yells out iPhone* :angry7:
-
In my opinion, the Iphone is wayyyyy better :)
