WHAT DETERMINES HAPPINESS AND WHY?
A. love
B.money
C.friends
D.knowledge
E.family
F.a clean conscience
G.true spirituality
AND WHY DO YOU ANSWER THAT WAY?
-
.a clean conscience, because guilt is a terrible thing. Having a clean conscience means you did not do things that screwed up your life. You can feel good about a clean conscience.
-
Interesting answer, indeed a clean conscience is something you cannot buy. Thanks for the post. :)

Hmm? ;D A multiple choice question. Is this post for a college exam/assignment for a Philosophy course? I’m surprised why the question is asked without providing own opinion first if there are no right or wrong answer? ;)
I think most of the above except for money is found through our inner self which holds the true treasure of all things we seek in life like love.
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” << Matthew 6:33 >>
True happiness comes from within, NOT from the outside e.g. through other people (your friends, family, significant other, marital spouse etc) and materialistic things. Many people commonly seek happiness from marital and love relationships, but those things can be limited which can be led to the saying of “I don’t believe in marriage because I don’t believe in divorce” later on.

True happiness comes from your relationship with God. Happiness can never be from money, fame, or an outside source ... it can't even come from another person. It is within yourself. If you have a good relationship with Jesus Christ you have what ever you need to be happy.... That is up to you - your attitude and outlook. :angel12:

I think we all determine our own happiness. There is no one else in the world who knows exactly what you want or makes you happy except yourself.
-
A lot of things can help make you happy but only you can really make yourself happy and determine your happiness. I'm realizing that now, I have to depend on myself to do what I need to in order to be happy and content
-
I agree with the previous answers, BUT, in my old age I've realized that when money goes out the door, so does peace of mind. The constant worry and stress about how to pay the rent, food, etc can have a major negative effect on general happiness
-
You determine happiness for yourself. If you rely on anything else for happiness you will not attain it. Only you can bring happiness to your life.

Hello Candy Terrius JW?????

Hello guys I appreciate all of your feed back. I would like to know though how would you guys define happiness anyway?
-
Happiness is not being in any debt, living simple and being with loved ones. And, doing something you love for a living.
-
Happiness is that warm feeling in your chest and tummy where you just feel like smiling all day and nothing and no-one can get you down......
-
I feel many people are still not answering this life question please mores feedback I really want to know.
-
I think every person is different and every day is different. Love can. Money can, to an extent. Good health can. Family can and can drive you crazy too..so i think everyone needs to figure that out for themselves
-
I believe that happiness comes in so many forms that it varys person to person and the situation or lifestyle there proceeding.. I know that a good strong relationship with my spouse makes me happy along with the communication and love that comes with it....also i am a child care provider and teaching children daily learning techniques makes me happy knowing im doing something productive........................
-
I believe happiness is a state of mind, it all depends on what a person need to consider themselves happy. We all have our own happiness, but we are only human so in the truest form we are never satisfied completely so really we are never truly happy. I have a wonderful marriage, a lovely son but cash is low...Guess I can't have it all huh? In truth, if I had two of the three in any combination I would not be happy.
-
I think you determine your own happiness. As for me, no worries of health issues or finances, having a great relationship w/ boyfriend, and being with family and friends would keep me happy :)
-
So what I have been getting from this is that all these things can bring a measure of happiness. But what brings the most out of all of them?

It's personal for everyone. Everyone is unique and some people are unhappy and don't know why. You have a great list but the thing that brings me the most happiness is not on your list.
My happiness comes from knowing who I am and having the sense of freedom to live and experience life as the individual I was created to be.
My goals are to experience great health, financial security and experience loving relationships. Those things also contribute to my happiness.
-
All of the above except 'G', plus countless other things. True happiness starts with yourself.
-
It's simple really. Happiness comes from within regardless of outside circumstances. We choose to be happy.
