i'm always worried it won't fit right and then i lose out on shipping costs for nothing...

I have the same problem. I'm really short and it makes for a lot of clothes that don't fit right, so I've never bought anything online.
The cute stuff that you find at exclusive online shops like ModCloth is expensive too! I suppose I could just get it trailored, but I'd pay like $70 for a summer dress then at least $30 to make sure it doesn't hang around too loose around my shoulders? I don't think so!

I take my mesaurements and make sure they have a size chart. That usually helps me to decide if it going to fit.

I would only buy clothes online if I was able to return it to a local store, I do not want the hassel or expense of returning through the mail.

I always buy clothes online because it's a lot less of a pain than shopping for them in person. ;D

it depends on what type of cloths i buy online. ill buy name brand online.

No, because clothes online looks different than they do in person. I would rather buy my clothes at the store, so I can try them on before I buy.

Seen some great sales, but I like to try everything on first.

I do 90% of my shop online. Ship is free on returns. I read the testimonies pertaining to what I'm buying. i had maybe 2 returns within 3 years. I love my online shop.... :thumbsup:

I might buy a T-shirt online, but most of time I just go shop for clothes.

I buy everything on line. Certain stores have clothes that fit me to a tee. For instance, Metrostyle (Lerner New York) has pants that fit my long legs perfectly. I never buy junk at places like Wal-Mart. With the exception of Metrostyle, I buy designer clothes on eBay at a fraction of retail.

I love shopping JC Penney online. Especially the clearance department. I haven't had much problems with having something not fit. I usually get free shipping and if I don't like it or can't wear it, I take it back to my local store.

i dont buy clothes online because i dont think they will fit.

Love shopping online for clothes; eliminates the annoying task of going to the mall.
But jeans are the exception. I have to try on jeans before I buy.

I buy online. I rarely have to return something. I like the selection I can get online.

No, I do not buy cloths online. I buy all my cloths at garage sales. I do not spend much money on cloths at all.

Only brands and stores that I feel confident will get size correct.

I LOVE BUYING CLOTHES ONLINE..... THEY HAVE SALES PLUS I GET SMS ON MY PHNE TO LET ME KNOW WEN THERES A SALE. I LIKE THAT ITS THE BEST WAY TO SHOP :thumbsup:

Absolutely!! I buy online for a few reasons. Generally I can get better discounts/coupons as well as assurance of sizes. I am a normal size medium which is sometimes hard to find in stores.

Yes I buy clothes online and offline. I love shopping for clothes online because they have a lot of sales and specials...they have the best style of clothing, and plus what I find online I can't find anywhere else.

I used to buy clothes online, but I found them hard to return! so it's easier to buy in store so I can try them on first :thumbsup:

No never did and dont think i would first the sizing then second i can go try on 10 shirts and only like one may not like style color how it fits then i would have to deal with returning and shipping costs much rather just go to the stores

I buy clothes online sometimes. I like the idea of not fighting crowds.

that is the reason I don't buy cloths online because you never know if they will fit right and then your stuck with them or it cost you more money to send them back

I never buy clothes online because I don't know if they would fit (and I don't want the hassle of returning them through the mail). I only buy shoes, hand bags, jewelry and beauty products online.

Yes, I do. It can be frustraing though, bc you cant try them on first! I only use sites that let me return very easily.

I have personally never bought clothing online, but I have known people who have and some have bought clothing online for me. It all fit when they did, but I worry about not being able to try it on first, so I don't do it myself.

Yes, I will buy anything online that does not cost me to return it. Either a local store return (like JCPenney or Costco) or free shipping back on a return. Also, like others, there are certain brands I buy that I know fit me to a tee. Shopping online for anything possible brings immense savings. Often the prices are better than they are in stores and the savings on gas is always a big plus.

Yes, I do. I have found that I can get stuff a lot cheaper. Normally I will try the item on in store first. If I have worn the brand before than it is not usually an issue. I buy athletic gear ALL THE TIME. It's normally 1/2 the cost.

I do buy online sometimes. I have bought sweaters but I always have them measure the arm length as I have short arms and some clothes have long, long sleeves!

I only buy tee-shirts online. I love the idea of the variety of options available online, but I don't buy them because of the possibility that they may not fit correctly.

I never buy clothes online. Im always afraid they wont fit correctly. I actually enjoy shopping for my clothes. Id rather see what I am buying and make sure it fits me.

What I by online I make sure the have a size chart and I also check out the return and shipping policy, before I purchase.

Yes, I buy clothes online, especially jeans. I'm 5'8" and like to wear heels, so I order a 35" or 36" length and that's really hard to find in the store for me. I have a few websites that I order from a lot, so I know the clothes will fit fine....I rarely ever have any returns. I don't buy shoes online tho....that's to risky for fit. I do shop in stores a lot, too. Always looking for a good buy. :)

I don't buy clothes on-line....one of the few things that I don't buy on-line actually. LOL I want to try things on before buying because I have an unusual body shape and it's hard to find clothes that fit correctly.

Yep. I usually buy online. I can get them to hem for me, and will be in the right size. I have been burned a couple of times, but usually I get good results.

Only if I"ve been to the store first and tried on the clothes so I know the right size.

If I had my way, I would rather shop online. Alot of the clothes in the stores, particularly jeans, are tight-fitting. Also, I like the fact that I don't have to stand in line.
