I think my favorite author is Michael Palmer. Although I do enjoy readying Bentley Little, Tess Gerristan, Robin Cook. I will read almost any author as long as the book is good.
-
I love James Patterson, he writes wonderful murder mysteries!
-
Favorite of all time? That's really, really tough. I'd have to say it's a toss up between L. Ron Hubbard and JRR Tolkien. I don't think I can choose between the two.
-
Don't have an all time favorite but right now my favorite is Haruki Murakami. I'm in the process of reading all of his books. They are extremely interesting.
-
I enjoy many authors...I dont really prefer one over the other
-
It is a tie between Stephen King and Dean Koontz
-
I love John Saul, all of his books are excellent.

Kahlil Gibran is my favorite author. I feel his writings are deep and insightful. They bring comfort and peace to the reader and I feel that is the mark of a good author. I began reading his works when I was a teenager. It has always been the same he is still after so many years my favorite. :angel11: :angel11: :angel11:

I like Vince Flynn--his novels are great and I can't put down one of his books.
I also like Bill Clinton's books.

Gail Sheehy. She wrote "Passages" and "Pathfinders." "Pathfinders" is a must-read for everyone. A simplistic way to describe it is that it is about living to the max, but it is so much more than that. It changed my life. I really need to read it again as it has been many years since I read it. She has also written many other books. I just bought the most recent one. :)

You're all too high brow for me; I've got too much angst in my life so I like to read light hearted stuff. I've got lots of favorites, but for fun and sexy - Jennifer Cruisie.
-
My favorite author is John Grisham.
-
Rick Riordan
-
JK Rowling probably because I can read Harry Potter over and over again.
-
My favorite is F. Scott Fizgerald with Hemingway coming in at a close second. Their use of metaphors and similes makes me use my mind more as I am rolling through their stories. I love the era of the twenties. Voltaire was good at this as well and I liked the eroticism that was incinuated into everything that he wrote. For more, quick, schlocky reading I can dig into a John Grisham, Stephen King or Jeffrey Archer book...usually good when I am on a flight that goes more than three hours.

I really love Laurell K. Hamiltons work
-
I'd have to say Nicholas Sparks is my author of choice right now. I just finished the notebook :crybaby2: lol and i am starting to read the weding sure to be a another tear jerker...

I don't think that I could pick an all-time favorite writer. There are so many writers that my household has every book that they've ever written. :) Stephen King, James Patterson, Christine Feehan, Lynn Kurland, Matthew Reilly, Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child....etc.
Right now I'm leaning towards the paranormal (werewolves, vampires, witches, fairies) and lately people have been bugging me to read the Twilight series especially since I absolutely LOVED The Host. I think that's going to be close to the top of my list of things to read next.

I am a nut for science fiction. Michael Crichton hands down for me. So sad he passed away :'(
With my favorite book being Sphere. Gotta love it.
