Title: Paid To Search
Post by: bostonphil on January 25, 2012, 03:21:37 pm
Well, it did take me a while to learn. But I did it.  I figured out how to use the search. I have been doing it correctly for days getting once cent for every four searches.  ;D  Administrator and other members had to guide me so I thank you for your help. It is so easy to search and earn once you understand how the system works.

Glad to hear you've worked through the glitches. I've also learned how to do the searches correctly so that every four yield a shiny new penny. I love that message that comes up after each four searches: "Your search is valid". It's also comforting to know we'll be receiving an extra buck fifty a month from FC. Along with the DCE and PTC, that adds up to $.22 a day or $6.60 a month right out of the gate each day. Just another reason to love FC!!

It seems to me that to make a qualifying search you can't just search for major companies or major websites such as MSN or YAHOO. Generally to get credit it seems to require an actual search for something more generic.

That is awesome for you! I love the paid per search. I look up alot of things online and its nice to be able to make money at the same time. I just wish there wasn't a cap on the amount per day. Anything my family does or needs I am the one how looks it up. So I can do alot in one day.

I also love the message "your search is valid" after the fourth search as well as seeing my extra cent. I had so much trouble early on learning how to search but now it seems so easy. ;D

I do not search for major companies. I keep it simple like looking up a person or place or item. And its working.

The search really is a great addition to the overall experience. It is a lot less frustrating than working on a survey that might DQ you. As long as people take a moment to read through the explanation of how it works and they understand it initially it was confusing if one did not understand what could be considered an invalid search. But by now, hopefully most folks are up to speed and are taking advantage of the process. As another member pointed out it averages $1.50 per month and I have been within that amount towards the end of the month and unable to complete surveys to qualify to cash out. Just a friendly reminder that this is a leap year but there will still only be 29 days in February, which will make only $1.45 available for the whole month, so don't wait to the last minute and then come up short! Good luck take care.

That sounds interesting, I think it is time for me to try this now after reading so many positive comments on the paid to search

I guess I'm one of the few who haven't figured out how to get the search to work yet.  My searches increment in the counter, but I have yet to get any credit.  I typically search for "how to" instructions, policies for work related stuff...whole range of things.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong - the instructions seem simple enough.   :dontknow:  At least I seem to do fairly well at the human tasks so I guess not having the search feature working for me doesn't hurt me too much.

FC's toolbar credits slower than a couple others-but still a nice thing for a few extra cents a day.
