The Cutting Edge Princess Bride Grease (of course) Titanic Deep Impact Father of the Bride movies The Cube Trilogy
I like both funny AND scary - they each have their place.

i don't like stupid comedies. my funny bone is pretty specific about what it likes.. for example: i love, love, LOVE tropic thunder, it's hilarious and wonderful. but i pretty much hate 40 year old virgin, i just don't find it the least bit funny. i'd have to say that scary movies are my favorites though<3. there's really nothing like a good dose of scare and gore.. silent hill, saw 2, resident evil, the strangers, halloween.. and such<3.
but i also love a good musical ::)

I quite like action and war movies. I think some of my favorites are Full Metal Jacket, Saving Private Ryan, the whole Die Hard Series. I also quite like Apollo 13, Forrest Gump and the X-Files movies. I'm only 22, but I also really like old movies. Sometimes I think movies today have too many special effects. Some movies use them well, but others just look ridiculous. Did anyone think that about the monkey scene in the latest India Jones? That's like a perfect example.

I want to go see the new movie called HEREAFTER has anyone seen it yet? I saw the previews and it looked real good and interesting but I hate to waste my money on a bad movie so i rather ask first if anyone has seen it already. also the movie SKYLINE looked good on previews, but previews always make movies look much better on tv than at the movies.
