I am currently saving for a hybrid. In order to save money I have made a budget and I'm eating at home a lot more often. I have also spent more time finding coupons, trying to save money that way has been pretty effective.

I live where I can ride a bicycle just about anywhere. I am also saving for an electric bicycle. :)
-
Planting a garden. We are not in a position to bike anywhere, nor walk. We have combined trips for years, mostly shopping on the way home from work instead of running back in town. Doing as manythings as we can for ourselves instead of buying/paying for services.

taking bicycle to work and school since i live close to both... PLUS! its a good way to shed weight!

Well, what I am doing about it is driving less. And I am debating of getting rid of my car all together.
-
driving less and staying home more driving small car with good mileage.
-
We traded for a smaller car with better gas mileage, try to always do several errands grouped together whenever possible, and sometimes do without something if it means another car trip. We have parked our truck and SUV unless we need the space or hauling capabilities. Warehouse store gas station for fillups,

Walk more. Take the bus. Drive less.

I'm going to be looking for a job closer to home after my maternity leave is over.

Try not to drive as much as we used too, problem is we live in a rural area, our grocery store sucks, The Drs. (good ones) are 80 miles away. So we all load up and make 1 trip a month, get all shopping done then buy groceries at Walmart ( they are increasing their prices too) . We usually save eough money, even having lunch to more then pay for the trip and have some left over. was a time didn't think anything about hoping in the car and traveling . Those days are gone.

Voting against Obama and any other politician who continues to block domestic oil and gas production, as well as continues purchasing oil from the ME and Venezuela.
The Keystone Pipeline alone would have helped drive down costs and brought jobs immediately. Unforgivable.
-
Drive slower. Don't go as many places.
-
Nothing. I have fully accepted they are beyond my control and refuse to get worked up over any change in gas prices. It is what it is.
-
Not A Thing I walk everywhere I have to go or take the bus :bootyshake:
-
unless you own the oil, there is nothing we can do about it...and now grocery prices will go up again. :crybaby2:

I have been cutting coupons lik crazy and we dont leave the house if we dont need too to save on gas. WE only go out to eat about 3 times a year, so we save money there.
