we try to go out at least twice a month just to get out of the house and enjoy someone else to cook and cleanup
-
We go out for dinner once a month. We also eat out on special occaisons.
-
My best friend and I go out to eat about once a month when our schedules allow it.
-
We usually go out to eat once every other month or so. Of course we always go out to eat at nice, sit down, adult eatery for holidays, birthdays, and other special dates. With three children under the age of four even that is an accomplishment
-
 since i divorced i eat out a lot. at least a couple times a week. its just as cheap and easy as to cook and clean up for one or two people
-
I eat out at least once a week. Sometimes less. Just depends.

All the time. Not for nice sit down meals, necessarily - but for something quick and easy because most of the time I'm busy after work (due to classes and being in school part time) so I don't really have time to cook.
-
Rarely. We can't afford it. And right now I've got a really restrictive diet, meaning that I have to make everything from scratch. Looking forward to the day when I can relax a bit and have someone else do the dishes!
-
Not very often. We too have to watch where we are spending $$ and have cut back here. Way cheaper to eat at home.
-
I probably only eat out 1-2 times a month, if that.
-
I'm in my 20's and single so going out to eat with friends is a favorite pasttime. That said I probably go out 3-4 times a month. Definitely not every day. Couldn't afford that!
-
We work on Monday and Thursday nites during dinner time so we often eat out after we finish working. Our favorite places have become Denny's, Arby's and Subway.
-
I try to go out once a week to dinner.
-
Once a month :)
-
Once a week depending on what's going on. :)
-
Not as often as I used to. I fell onto hard times and I need to conserve every penny.
-
never
-
I do not go out hardly ever anymore. no money.
-
no one takes me out
-
being single i go out for dinner 3 times a week
-
I used to go out for dinner a lot, but lately when I can! :)

Including fast food restaurants we go out at least once per week...because of convenience. Colorado has a special this week called the 5280 week. Ninety participating restaurants offer a three course dinner for two at fifty two dollars and eighty cents. Tonight we will so out and spend $52.80 for our anniversary. Tomorrow night we will spend $52.80 for two dinners to go which will be more than enough food for the family to enjoy while watching the oscars. Next Friday we will take the kids out someplace special (for $52.80) to celebrate their good grades. I typically like to make all the fixings for quick dinner fixes in advance on Sundays but 5280 is a good deal.

I would eat out once a month with the family at mcdonalds or something. Everything is expensive and small these days that eating out isn't worth it anymore.
-
I've been trying to cut down A LOT because it's so much more cost effective to eat at home, but I still find myself at restaurants a couple times a month. There's always some occasion that leads to one: birthdays, holidays, someone dropping into town, etc. At the very least, I don't tend to go to pricey places when I do go out!
-
I don't get to eat out much. I eat out with my family once a month.
-
We used to go out couple of times a month, but have stopped doing that because of tight finances. My husband is out of job, and we limit all extra spending.
-
It's funny with how things have been changing with this uncertain economy. I remember I used to go out at least 4 times per month - about once a week. I'd enjoy eating at some really classy restaurants too. However, with the change in the economy, I am lucky if I can afford a personal sized pizza at the local pizza parlor with a friend or family member once a month. Ouch, has things changed over these past three years and I do miss going out as often as I did in the past too. I really do not enjoy a dirty kitchen and so to combat the dirty kitchen in lieu of no longer going out as often as I did in the past, I eat off paper plates I purchased from the dollar store. My, oh my.
-
we usually go out about once every two or three weeks..... probably a lot less in the months to come.
-
Once a month for me too. I thought that was not enough but I see alot of other people had the same answer I did.
-
My girlfriend and I used to go out for dinner on average once every 3 weeks and I used to buy a lunch up to twice a week. Once we looked at where we were spending our money we realized that we were throwing it away. No we make our own lunches (ok she makes lunches) and we eat out less than once a month and no more lunches. We have come to realize that the food we make at home is tastier less fatty and we have such a good time making the food. I find that the daily task are much more enjoyable and go by faster if we work together... sometimes making dinner seems like were just hanging out. Try it out!
-
I guess that depends on what you call out for dinner. I am often out at dinner time so I grab fast food. That is usually 2 - 3 times per week.
-
I eat out at least once a week. on Sunday after Church with the Family
-
Once a week. I used to work at a restaurant , so I try to avoid them! :)
-
Once in a while we will go and eat a lunch after church. And the only time we go out for dinner is when we are out of town and staying overnight. otherwise we don't go out. Where we live is a very small town and it doen't take long before you have tried out everyplace. Go once and that is all. Sometimes not worth going back too. I am a better cook then most, not bragging spent a lot of time working and cooking in high price rest. So know what i want to see and eat.

We go out twice a week. Only at lunch time otherwise we want to cook it ourself.
-
I hardly ever go out to dinner, but it would be nice to sometimes.
-
We/I don't really have the money but my boyfriend go out about 1- 2 times a month because he never has any food at his house or the stuff to make it. My boss started this new thing where we go out about twice a month after work with him and his gf. It's really odd that we are friends and makes it difficult to deal with him at work sometimes. But I go out to eat a lot
-
I only go out to eat on special occasions. But I can't even afford that anymore. I mean there's thanksgiving, halloween, christmas, mothers day, fathersday, grandparents day, secretary's day, valentines day, easter, memorial day, 4th of july, veterans day, wife's birthday, son's birthday, daughter's birthday, now the inlaws birthdays, grandkids birthdays. Hell, there's another must eat out occassion almost every other week. Whatever happened to a family dinner at home?!
-
We try to go out once a month at least. This past weekend we went to southern fries . It was great!
-
We try once a month. Just to save money but we also need time out away from the house.
-
We rarely go out, I am always cooking lunch and dinner.. I pretty much live in the kitchen.
-
I perfer my own cooking. But it is nice a couple times a month to have no dishes to do.
-
I go out way too much for dinner but i am out of ideas for things to cook at home.
-
we order in more :dontknow:
-
We go out to dinner on the weekend because of my son's extra activities on the weekend. But we try to only do it when we have coupons for the places to go to eat. Or we go were they may have been having sometimes have specials. But something that we do to try and save also is we don't order drinks we have water. that saves you alot when eating out. Also if the place has large servings I will ask for an additional plate so that I can share with my husband and son. So sometimes the three of us can go out to eat for around 20 for a nice meal.
-
About once a month.
-
About once a month...not as much as I'd like to.
We take out about once a week though.
-
In the past years, never. My finances doesn't permit the luxury of eating out anymore. But hopefully I can return to doing the things I really enjoy soon.
-
Literally, pretty darn close to never. The same can be said for picking up something in a drive-thru or something of the like. I can only recall ever having something delivered to my house 3 times in my life. We just don't spend money on this kind of thing and haven't hardly done so for YEARS. I'd certainly like to at least once a month though.
