1 Hour of Brisk Walking: Burn 275 – 415 calories
Our bodies were created for movement, not for sitting behind a desk all day. You have to move it if you want to lose it! Start this season off on the right foot with just 20 minutes of brisk walking daily. Add a few minutes every day and eventually increase your time to 45 minutes or more. This gentle, but effective physical activity will benefit your heart, help improve your digestion, boost your energy, and increase your metabolism. Make it extra fun by walking with a pooch or pal, exploring nature, or even strolling in your local mall.

I walk 6 days per week about 2 miles each day and I am losing weight. It works! :angel12:

I live in the Midwest, so I'm super stoked that the weather has been great lately, definitely pumps me up and motivates me to walk.

Walking is always fun! Especially now since the weather is awesome here in Western WI! Gotta love it!

Now that the weather isn't so cold, I'm looking forward to walking some trails. :) Was getting bored with the treadmill.

I have a step climber machine and use it when the weather is bad. I will have to start getting outside more to get some actual walking exercise now that it is getting nicer.

I enjoy walking the most compared to running. I love to hike and walk up steep roads. When i needed to lose a lot of weight this was the best medicine and I was able to shed a lot of pounds quickly. With the weather so beautiful it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

I have a rod in my leg and a broken foot so I can't do too much walken.
