I agree that her life was tragic but very interesting. Have you ever seen the documentary on the train ride tour she was on? Wild!

There is a film called "The Rose" with Bette Midler playing a Janis Joplin-like singer. It's a thinly-disguised Janis Joplin biography made in 1979. You can check it out on Amazon.

I love her music and her voice is phenomenal. I also own the Janis Joplin collection "Box of Pearls", which I highly recommend if you're a JJ fan.  :thumbsup:
