I don’t care for auctions and never been curious about overstock.com. Once I found Amazon I use it more than any other website and never had a single problem with them. So I’m Amazon all the way.
-
I;ve sold a good deal of my collector jewelry on Ebay. I'm not muchfor auctions, either, but the "buy it now" is great. I love Amazon, too --- wish it was part of the "Shop to Earn" here!!!
-
Overstock is a poorly done site, Amazon charges too much 1/2 the time but at least you get free shipping over $25 on things Amazon itself has in stock, eBay is where its at. If one guy charges too much, look at another guy. Something can be $60 at Amazon or O.co and and its only $15 or something on eBay. (Used in that example is a product key to Norton Internet Security 2012, yes I saved that much $) ;)
-
I have to go with Amazon - There are a few search and win sites that offer Amazon gift cards. It's easy to *bleep* $25-$40 in gift cards each month.
-
I usually do a lot of shopping on Amazon during the holidays! But I get a lot of coupons for Overstock and they offer great shipping rates!!
-
Ebay i love because it is cheaper, i also use amazon for stuff thats hard to find, Overstock i've always disliked for some reason :P... i guess it's the painly slow shipping (Ik what do you expect for $1).
-
It all depends on the item. I will usually check Amazon, Wal-Mart and E-Bay to see where the best deal is. E-Bay has lots of "buy-it-now" listings for those who don't want to mess with the auction process.
-
I use eBay to sell but shop around to other sites to buy at the best price. I have been hearing that the Federal Government is looking to shut PayPal down for tax evasion. When that happens the internet is going to explode with new auction sites and payment services. I really dislike how eBay pushes their sellers around and continues to raise fees and make more requirements for sellers. It is no longer a free marketplace, but a managed economy.

Amazon and eBay for me.
I really love Amazon as a way to get things cheaper. Bought most of my school books on Amazon, brand new, and they cost less than the used price at my schools book store. Plus their free shipping over $25 helps me save a bit more.
So far eBay has been good to me. Buy-it-now has netted me a few things. Mostly I use it for older things. I wanted to play my old Nintendo 64 system but the video port on it is dead. $50 on eBay and I got a brand new system with controller, game, and all the cords. Not bad for the cost of a new game. Off an auction I bought a 2 month old Xbox 360 system with Kinect and two games for $200. So, if you are willing to fight a bit, you can get some good deals
Never used Overstock but that's more cause I can find whatever I need on the other two.
-
I tend to use all of them. I collect coins for fun, but amazon isn't easy on the price, and overstock doesn't sell those, so I usually do business with ebay.
-
i personally love amazon as for overstock never tried it...Ebay for me is not so great because its to crazy for me the whole betting and all. buy everything on amazon
-
I have never tried overstock.com, but I like Amazon more than ebay
-
It don't matter to me, its like which one has the best price to me :icon_rr:
-
i've been with ebay much longer and always
use it to sell. i do buy often from there, but
amazon is pretty amazing! i've found some
awesome stuff for cheap

I have never tried Overstock.com, but I have bought many items through Ebay and Amazon. I have won a few of the auctions on Ebay, but I usually just use the "Buy it now" feature. I have been able to find things on Ebay that I couldn't find elsewhere. But I guess I prefer Amazon. One of the best parts of Amazon is the "customer reviews". I always check the reviews before making a purchase. They can be very informative and have influenced my choice many times. I love the free shipping feature, and the fact that they make suggestions about other items I might be interested in, especially in the book or DVD department.
-
I have used Ebay and Amazon but not Overstock.com. So far I like Amazon better than Ebay.
-
I'm not crazy about Overstock, but I do like Amazon and Ebay. I use to participate in the auctions often on Ebay, but I seem to be doing the "buy now" option nowadays. Of the three I frequent Amazon the most for user review and initial price comparison. I also periodically take advantage of the app store and once in awhile free MP3 music offerings.
-
I have used all 3 web sites Amazon,Overstock and Ebay!! and I prefer to use Amaxon, I buy almost all of my Christmas gifts on there ;D
-
The one that I use more often lately has been Amazon. Because I have been getting gift cards from fiends and family to use it in amazon.com.
-
i collect vintage and antique dolls and toys and i've found my besst deals on ebay.
-
I have used ebay and amazon.I prefer Amazon,I am always looking at stuff on Amazon.Service is always good and receive products on a timely basis
-
Never really checked out Overstock.com, maybe I'll do that soon. For right now, it's Ebay for me. You can find some real bargains on Ebay and a lot of times they offer free shipping. As a seller, I have done well on Ebay as well. They always have specials for sellers like free listings on a certain day or other offers. Ebay rocks.
-
I use Amazon and ebay but ebay is the best hands down. I buy things there that are such good prices that when i price compare I always come out cheaper getting alot of items that I need from ebay.
-
I like ebay since everything is easy to find and like another person said there are items on there I cannot find anywhere else.
-
I've had some really good luck with eBay, but I'm also very fond of Amazon. I have never, ever had a problem with Amazon. The Amazon stuff always arrives in good shape and well within the expected time frame. Shipping is free if you don't mind your things taking the scenic route. Good quality, and I've found several things there I haven't found anywhere else. I like eBay for certain things (have found some GREAT yarn buys, for example), but I keep on comiing back to the A-site.

I have never tried Overstock.com. I have looked at their website only a few times and find that it really never has what I need or what I am looking for. As far as E-bay and Amazon it really depends what I am looking for and looking to buy for which one I am going to use. Of course I am going to use Amazon for books, they have lower prices on books and I like to buy Calendars from them too. They have their really good deal on shipping too, so if you spend over $25 you are going to get free shipping, so that is really nice.
For random other things I usually use E-bay and I like to do the "Buy it Now" option, just because I do not like bidding and sometimes am not around when the auction ends. I have used E-bay to buy cases and covers for my cell phones, also screen protectors. I have also used it to buy brand new make up that is still sealed and a lot of belly button rings that I split with my friend.
So for me it usually just depends. Also which ever has the best price, with the best ratings!!!

I am an Amazon junkie, almost all my online shopping is from that site alone. Love them
-
I prefer to shop at Amazon, because i can always find what i need there and the prices are not bad either. I also occasionally like shopping on Ebay.
-
I'm not much for auctions either. I use ebay and have for many years.
-
I prefer Amazon. I've never had a problem with them, knock on wood.
-
I'm a seller on ebay so I have to say ebay.
-
I use all 3, but definitely amazon.com is the one most often used.
We always renew our amazon prime membership yearly - for $79.00 you get anything delivered in two days for $0.00 shipping! (Almost anything - doesn't include items from 3rd party/marketplace sellers) And no minimum order amount either - that's really cool. If you need something small right away, you don't have to add items to your order to meet a minimum, or wait til you need other items before ordering.
I KNOW we've saved a BUTTLOAD on shipping charges. So to me that $79.00 is well worth it.
I also like their subscribe and save program, although some of the discount %s have been lowered recently.
I don't use eBay very often, but I do go there fairly often and look for items, even if I buy elsewhere.
eBid is another one...(apparently) they charge lower seller fees, so prices CAN be lower there than on eBay, but not always.
Overstock is really different.....it's kind of strange, most times they're higher on things than amazon (and a lot of other places), but on occasion I find things there for a WAY lower price than anywhere else.
They don't have nearly the selection that amazon does though, that's for sure.
** I was REALLY amazed to see how many people posted that they had never tried overstock.com.......I never
would have guessed that would be the case, since they always have advertising on TV/internet.
-
I use EBAY the most often because I am often looking for out of print stuff.
-
I use both Amazon and Ebay, but I've had the best luck with Amazon. They almost always have what I'm looking for.
-
I did have an Amazon Prime membership for a while. I think they give you a month or two month trial for free. It worked out great because I was looking for something very specific for a gift for a friend who was having a baby girl. They had something that worked out well, but I had waited so long it was so close to the baby shower. I signed up for the Prime and got my shipping within three or four days. It took a little longer than expected, but it still arrived in time. I also ordered some other things while I had my trial membership, but they did not arrive with in the two days, they took a little bit longer than that too.
So it was nice because the shipping did come sooner than most, but it was not the advertised two day shipping. Plus I could not afford the $80 a year, especially since I do not buy enough from amazon to make it worth while. But I can see if people shop a lot from Amazon how it could be beneficial.
-
I've never gotten anything from Overstock, but it looks great. I've shopped on Amazon, found great deals and steals, but never purchased. I have purchased from eBay multiple times and never had a bad experience. It's nice being able to find things you can't in stores. Walmart doesn't have vintage toys that I used to play with. Even Candy Land was changed.
-
i only is amazon. i barely buy stuff online so that's all i really need. and amazon is what i really used to using anyways
-
I don't like overstock but like Amazon alot. I use ebay also. On ebay you can also buy or use auction. Have different perks for each site. But Amazon seems to be the best. :cat:
-
amazon by a landslide... i use it for everything i shop...
-
There are too many web sites that we can shop nowadays.
But if I have to choose over those 3, it will most likely be Amazon.
-
I use amazon often!
-
Of course Amazon and nowhere is better than Amaxzon
-
I love Amazon but I'm starting to dabble into Ebay since it saved me over $50 bucks
-
I use both Amazon and Ebay but I feel safer to buy from Amazon. When I buy anything on Ebay I always make sure to buy from sellers who have good feedbacks. I've had a bad experience before...
-
I've used Amazon about twice so far and am likely to use them again. I've looked at eBay, and will probably use since they allow PayPal. I will have to take a look at Overstock.
-
I always used ebay because I like bidding on the product I want and try getting it cheaper then retail price.
-
Amazon is the top site for sure. It's even beaten the top discount retailer of the world wallmart.
-
I didn't think they were that much alike... I use Ebay when I am looking for something unique and Amazon when I want something run-of-the-mill and I haven't used Overstock's yet...
-
I use Amazon and eBay. I have never visited or tried Overstock. I use Amazon the majority of the time.
-
Amazon if I have a gift certificate, ebay if I am selling something.
-
I use both Amazon and Ebay. Ebay moreso than Amazon, but I like shopping for a good dea.
-
i like all three amazon, ebay , and overstock. i mostly shop amazon though. for awhile i was on ebay and really got hooked had to take a break before i went broke lol :)
-
Yea Ebay is fun if you like auctions, but I use Amazon cause you can buy it quick and at a good price.
-
I dont like paying for shipping so I just go out buy my stuff ;D
-
I have never used Overstock. I use Amazon a lot, but for some things harder to find, I still use eBay.
-
i love Amazon i use it all the time.
-
I never tried Overstock. Amazon and Ebay though, I always compare prices between them to see which has the best deal. I don't like the auctions on Ebay though.
-
I love Amazon! I do a lot of surveys and stuff for Amazon cards, so most of the stuff I get on there is either free or very low cost. Plus, they have almost anything I ever need or want, usually at a great price. I do use Ebay occasionally, but the prices on there are not as good as they used to be, because ebay keeps making new rules designed to discourage casual sellers, from whom you can often get the best deals.
-
I like Amazon, but I hate their shipping costs...I visited Overstock and wasn't impressed at all (kind of crappy in my opinion) and Ebay, don't know much about them and was never that interested in shopping there.
-
That's easy for me: Amazon rocks. Great prices, great customer service and a very wide variety of products. Can't be beat!
-
Amazon all the way for me. There is hardly anything you can't find there and reading the reviews of products is a real bonus. They've helped me avoid some buying mistakes. I earn lots of Amazon gift cards at other sites and save them for Christmas shopping; paid for the whole Christmas last year. I belong to Amazon Prime which gets me free shipping and also the ability to download books to my Kindle for free. It costs $79 for a year but pays for itself many times over.
-
I like Overstock.com they seem to have the lower prices and always have specials on shipping
-
AMAZON EBAY I USE FOR SELLING THINGS SO I SAY EBAY
-
Amazon IS THE BEST. The best prices, reviews and merchandise. I order stuff off of there all the time. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Like anything, I guess it's a matter of preference. I've used ebay before so that's what I would probably go toward. I've never used the others so I don't know nor can I speak on those. In addition, if any of you didn't know, in addition to auctions, you can specify a Buy Now price if you don't want to chance losing a certain amount of money on the items you sell. Plus the convenience of Paypal has always been good for me as well.
