Use Naproxen (generic Aleve) if you have any it has more anti-inflammatory action. If you don't have Naproxen, then Ibuprofen (generic Motrin) is also anti-inflammatory -just not as good. Biofreeze rub is good as is icy hot especially if there is someone around to give you a good massage of your back. I have back problems ad have had for years so I can sympathize with you.

I've had back problems, pinched nerve. So I know what it's like. For me the best solution was honestly just doing as little as possible until the pain subsided. Every situation is different of course and I hope you find a solution that works well for you.

Back problems are the worst. I can't even walk very long without having to sit down. It feels like a hot poker is being stabbed through my back and it travels down. This is on a daily basis. Add Arthritis and Fibromyalgia into the mix and its pain everyday and during the night also. That is my world.
