I don't understand why this Super,Super,Stupid,super model should be rewarded for walking into airplane blades in which she lost an arm & an eye! 1.The plane that impaled her limbs wasn't even the plane she was on. 2.You got to be extremely,extremely,dumb,deaf,& blind not to be able to see those huge blades spinning in front of your face! 3.If she did this to get the insurance like they do w/fake car accident scams,she sure found a creative way to get that insurance/lawsuit monies!4. I don't think she should get that lawsuit money for doing something so stupid! She probably had such a BIG PIG HEAD on her shoulders being a super model;that she thought she could do anything like walk into the airplane blades.Sorry,Super,Stupid model,I don't care how high & mighty you think you are,thinking you can get away w/anything;Sorry,you'll always LOSE when you go,up against the LAWS of PHYSICS!I hope it was worth the loss of a few body parts so you can fleece the system! Even more sickening, she being honored for doing the stupid.She should be nominated for the "Darwin Awards," Perfect candidate for not passing your genes on w/this moron who has demonstrated she has less than half a brain!Now, I understand why other people/races call us,"STUPID AMERICANS!" :BangHead: So, I wonder FC members does America Reward Stupidity?Does this person deserve to get the lawsuit monies?Do,you think the airplane company that she wasn't booked on be charged for her stupid stunt? :dontknow: :wave:

That's the first I have heard of that. No I hardly think the airline is at fault.

Accidents do happen and I doubt very much she almost killed herself on purpose, sorry.

Who was this? Could you post a link to the story. Never mind I found it http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/27/lauren-scruggs-model-plane-propeller_n_1382613.html. Now she is suing for her stupidity because people just hate taking responsibility for their own actions and love to blame other people. The pilot should have turned off the propeller before anyone got off the plane but it said he tried to warn her not to near the area. Common sense should tell you not to go near a moving airplane propeller but I see her getting some money after all.

but society rewards stupidity...just ask the cast of Jersey Shore...or any other reality show celebrities. Heck, just find 90% of the rappers out there nowadays. That's stupidity at it's absolute dumbest.

Dear Lord!...I've never heard this before. Who is this model?...Anyway, I totally disagree. Who the hell intentionally maims themselves by walking into airplane blades just for insurance money??? Especially a model, a person who literally values her looks...Don't you think that's a little extreme? I mean, Jesus Christ...she lost her eye and arm! Nobody is that insane and money hungry. I'm pretty sure it was an accident.

The only thing I find stupid is that fact that you believe she is somehow being "rewarded" for this. The lawsuit is to cover her medical costs, which currently will not all be picked by the insurance. If you think she is going to going to profit from this and it was some stunt, you are incredibly naive.

It is really stupid, a person should always be aware of where your are and what is going on. It is worse then when the woman sued Mcdonalds for serving her a cup of real hot coffee and she burned herself. Anything to get money for nothing i guess. I just couldn't do for something stupid done and gross negliance on her part.
