Has anyone seen the movie in 3D? I liked the movie Titanic, I was just wondering if it was any good in 3 D. I know they are rushing to cash in on the 3D craze, so maybe it is not as good. If it is I would probably go see it. I think Saving Private Ryan would be awsome in 3 D

i have never seen titanic and dont' plan on it i can't believe they made it 3d lame

It was a great movie the first few times that i saw it but I am not interested in seeing it again. 3D or not. :bootyshake:

I saw it when it first came out. Seen it since on VHS, DVD and Blu Ray. I saw it in 3D this weekend. They didn't do that much in terms of 3D, I liked seeing it on big screen, but not sure it is worth it for the extra money..

No i havent seen it yet but i would like too.

I haven't seen it,but I heard it was really good.I will probably wait for it to come to dvd

Titanic was a very good movie, but I don't plan on seeing it in 3D.....I felt it was long enough the first time

I already saw the movie Titanic in the theatres when the movie came out in the 90's and have the DVD at home. Maybe when the 3D is released on disc I might pick one up again, but I don't have a desire to see this in the movies. Prices are high to begin with and seeing a movie I've already seen even with the added effects is not motivating enough for me.

I would watch it but I don't want to drown.

I have not seen the Titanic in 3D but I think the movie was great with out going to the 3D stage.
-
No i havent i heard its the same as the first one only the director changed how titanic sunk.... ???

If they are re-showing it in regular 2D, I may consider catching a matinee as it would be nice to see the movie on the big screen again. Watching it on my TV just doesn't do justice to some of the ship sinking scenes.
But I wouldn't see it in 3D. As the movie was not filmed in 3D, I can't think of much they'd be able to do to convert it to a 3D movie. Would be more like Superman Returns in 3D which I was not impressed with. Outside of any visual shots that was done digitally that would be easier to convert to 3D, I wouldn't think it would be worth the extra money. Perhaps seeing the water rushing, or things "falling" at you may be okay - but that wouldn't be enough to compel me to shell out the cash.

thats the thought i had when i8 went to movies. it being in 3D woulnd't have much effect on the actu7al movie and besides there is not much u can do with titanic in 3D

Well thanks for the response. I see that one has seen it in 3d and stated that the 3 d was not that much, which means to me they hurried up to try and get more money on the movie. So I guess I will not see it again. It is good to learn these things.

why in the world would anyone want to see Titanic in 3d?

I think this is a waste of a movie in the theaters. I mean do not get me wrong Titanic is a good movie but everybody has seen this move multiple of times either on VHS or DVD. I do not understand what is the point in bringing the movie in theaters.
-
I loved the movie the first time and can't wait to see it in 3D. I think it would be neet exsperience, crap it may scare the crap out of us. That is what I am waiting for to watch it in 3D
-
I just don't follow how 3d changes things. I don't buy all the hype.
-
I did love the movie, but I don't know if I will be running out to see it in 3D. Some things are just left as they are!!
-
I have not seen it yet, a lot of people have lost interest. It was a must see when it came out the first time, now not everyone wants to see it, its 2 long.

I saw it when it first came out, and I think that was enough for me.

I think the whole purpose to bring it back to the theater in 3D format is to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the actual experience of the Titanic which sank on April 15, 1912. :dontknow:

It's just a plot for them to make more money on a movie that was bad in the first place. Capitalizing on people's emotions is a terrible thing to do.
