You could turn that catastrophe into inspiration! I have read that a lot of people did. Let it inspire you instead of defeating you! ;)

I dreamed of being a Mommy and luckiy I am one. And now a grandma too. I am blessed. You never have to give up on your dream you can still become an artist. I plan on starting painting at some point when I have more time.

I should of kept up with my art work. I was so good for awhile there. I would have to take the time to get back into it. I dream of having a nice home someday with my family around. I dream of being happy someday too.

That's one of the problems with encouraging superstitious religious beliefs; a desire to infect other generations with such a disease is as 'rude' as those doing so might believe this dissenting view to be.

That's the BEST dream I've heard a parent say they've had, ever. Your children are lucky to have a mom like you. Hope you have a very Happy Mother's Day!!

"When you wish upon a star, your dream comes true!"
"According to astronomy, when you wish upon a star, you're actually a few million years too late. That star is dead. Just like your dreams."
HAPPY FRIDAY, FC FRIENDS!

That sucks, man. I'd recommend channeling that depression into artwork though!

I wanted to be an astronaut as a kid. Then, after flying with some pilots and having them do 5 practice landings and me getting sick and almost puking, I gave that one up. As a teen, I wanted to be an engineer of some sort, but once I read and heard of some horror stories of rocket science classes from my friends, I gave that up. I do still think about it occasionally and only regret not becoming an astronaut. Who can blame me?

If you're actually wishing upon a _star_, (rather than a meteorite or, 'falling star'), then it could have burned out, gone nova or at the very least, isn't where it appears to be. It can be an interesting metaphor; wishing 'on' something that isn't there anymore, (because the stars one sees in the night sky are so far away that they've moved considerably by the time their light reaches your eyes).
HAPPY FRIDAY, FC FRIENDS!
Friday; slow to arrive and passes through the weekend all too quickly.

With the possibility of private enterprise spaceflight on the horizon, you may yet have the opportunity to toss your cookies in orbit.

For a little while, as a small child, I wanted to be a Ninja Turtle. Then it was an artist or astronaut for a while. Now, I'm not entirely sure, and I'm hesitant to just pick one thing. I enjoy computer programming, and would like to develop software and games fore at least a part of my life, but science also interests me quite a bit, and I definitely want to leave the earth's orbit at least once. Artificial intelligence and physics are two fields that are consistently on my mind. I don't really know where to start haha.

It is sad to say but I had material dreams like living in a big mansion with a pool and lots of free time to play. Well that dream hasn't come true yet but I am also happier about the little things.
