Although I wouldn't attribute figuring out how to use the forums as 'praising g-d' for being "slo"[sic] to figure out how to use the forums; we were all newbies, once upon a time. There are many FC members happy to offer assistance to newbies or anyone else here, (I've even done so, much to the apparent astonishment of a few).

I think the forum is pretty easy to use, once you get the hang of it!!! Good luck everyone!

Don't think this member was praising God for being slow on learning how to use the Forum, but praising God that they were finally able to figure it out. :P

That would be another inaccurate attribution since 'g-d' had no discernable effect on the new member figuring out how to use the forums. Such would be like thanking/"praising" invisible pink unicorns for providing assistance in forum usage. :o

I agree with that. Though sometimes, for some, it's just a phrase they happen to use when they finally achieved a goal. :)

One; they're not my 'invisible' pink unicorns - that euphemism came from another. Two; you've just claimed that 'g-d' "does exist" and unless you can provide evidence to support your claimed assertion, (bearing in mind that "faith" does not constitute evidence), that claim is empty and without merit.
Of course, your other option include failing to support your claim by not backing it up, trying to disparage the challenge for you to provide evidence under the burden of proof for making a claim, simply doing a 'hit-and-run' post instead of having the courage of your convictions or, possibly some unforeseen irrational option not predictable.

Glad to see you again :)
Acts 1:12-14; 2:1-41
Before Jesus died and went to heaven, he gave the apostles one last instruction. Jesus said "wait for the gift My Father promised. That gift is the Holy Spirit. There were 120 men and women. They waited and prayed for 10 days for the Holy Spirit. It came the day that they heard great Big wind, they saw flames of fire over each others heads, they spoke in languages they had never learned. A crowd came to see what was going on. The people in the crowd spoke many languages. All of them heard God praised in their own languages from home.! The crowd was curious , how do they know our words? Apostle Peter stood out and preached to the crowd. AND GUESS WHAT ? Three thousand people asked Jesus to live in their lives that day! All those people became part of the very first church. We call the Day of Pentecost the birthday of the Church.
Can you explain why all these happened? Only God can do these things.
Sunday May 27 is Pentecost Celebration Day, wish you could be part of it.
But first you would need to say a sinners prayer: (this would be an example, or you could use your own words)
Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Please forgive me, I've been blind from the truth, but now I believe you are the son of God. Come into my heart and life. Help me love and follow you the rest of my days. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for the gift of Salvation Amen! Glory to God!
DID YOU READ IT :)
I am so sorry your finger is forbidden to type the word God, ...try to reach as hard as you can for that "o" ohhh! unless you were talking about someone or something else :dontknow:
Blessings :angel11: ..... ohh by the way I don't post and run...
Have you seen any pink elephants lately?

I doubt that since using a dubious source to support a dubious claim does not constitute providing evidence to support your claim, (it's merely 'bible-thumping').

Actually, that was not the first inclination of my "finger" in that context however, were you aware that some religious adherents use the same convention when referring to their hypothetical supernatural entity, (although I'm not a religious adherent, I use the convention to convey a disbelief in such religious precepts instead)? Whether or not the distinction is too subtle for another to grasp is of no concern to me.

Good to know. So, do you have any tangible evidence which supports your asserted claim that "g-d DOES exist", (bearing in mind that a religious document which contains more dubious claims represents circular argumentation and not evidence)?
Have you seen any pink elephants lately?
Not a one, (nor any invisible pink unicorns), since I don't drink and I don't experience religious self-delusion illusions.

Do you have a birth certificate? or would you consider that a tangible evidence which supports your existence. Maybe you're not real. A few years from now nobody will know you existed in this world.
Glad you don't drink :) alcohol kills body organs little by little, hope you don't smoke either :)

Yes, I do have one. Are you implicitly suggesting by that question that you have "g-d's" birth certificate available? If so, please scan and post it so that authenticity can be verified. Thanks in advance.
Maybe you're not real. A few years from now nobody will know you existed in this world.
If I'm not real, somebody is going to make a fortune on advanced AI software and people are very likely to remember if "SkyNet" starts churning-out "Terminators" left and right.

Since my brain cells remain unaffected by alcohol, I'm able to easily recall that you've yet to provide tangible evidence to support your claim that "G-d DOES exist". Will that evidence be forthcoming anytime before the "judgement day" in the Terminator fictional series?
