Recipe for Toasted Pastina Pilaf
2 carrots finely chopped
1 medium onion finely chopped
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 package (12oz) Ronzoni egg pastina uncooked
4 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon thyme leaves
How to make Toasted Pastina Pilaf
Cook and stir carrots and onion in hot butter until tender but not browned. Add pastina cook and stir in chicken broth, add parsley, salt, pepper and thyme, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed makes 8 servings.
