My car's name is Kit ;D Do you have a name for yours?
-
Mmmmmmmm....isn't Kit the name of the Knight Rider's car???? Anyway, I named my car Wingstar!
-
My car is named as "cutie" heehee because it is such a cute shape with red color.
-
I never had the consideration to name my car, but if I ever committed to getting a boat I will probably name and label with a female name as I've seen others do.
-
I have a Ford 500..her name is 500 Reasons Y or My Betty Boop
-
My father had a VW Beetle named Jezebel. I have had an Englebert, a Wild Thing, a Blue Thunder, and now, my daughter named my current car, little mouse Matthew (no idea why, but she chose it so we keep it)
-
No I do not name my vehicles never have.

Agreed and never will. Unless, this stupid piece of &!@$# counts as a name.
-
I have kiddingly named my car Betsy, but I have named my computer and I'm with my computer much more than my car...
-
no i dont name my car but i know people who do
-
I think naming a vehicle is too much of an obsession with a material item. That's like naming your pencil, Jim or something.
-
We haven't named our vehicle, but my husband named the GPS. He is on the road a lot and the GPS "talks" to him quite a bit!
We tease him about "Dalene"
-
I name my car 6 pack because it has 6 speakers.
-
I don't name my vehicles either. In high school I had this ugly brown beater of a buick that my sister lovingly referred to as the poo mobile.
-
A name for my car, hmmmm. Its a car not a person. I have often wondered why people name their cars.

Naming a variety of vehicles has been done for centuries. The historical basis for doing so varies but, most ships have female names for instance. If people have been naming ships for millenia, why not other vehicles such as cars/trucks?
-
I have never given a name to any vehicles. Except for P.O.S., but I don't think that really counts here. I don't think I'll ever name any automobiles either. I don't think I even know anyone who has named theirs either.
-
When I was in school back in the 60's, that was the thing to do. I had several friends who had 'named' cars but since the one I drove really belonged to my mother, I ever named it. Once I started owning my own cars, it never seemed like something I wanted to do. I have enough trouble trying to name pets ;D
-
No. The only names on my vehicle is the make and model that came with it.
-
I don't remember ever naming a car, however, I have called a few names...lol
-
I never purposely named my vehicles, but over time a name kinda came and stuck. I used to drive a Sunbird in my 20s that I affectionately called my "Funbird". We have a suburban that we cart our large family around in that we titled "The Bus". ...and we have a 91 marquis that is headed for the junk yard that came from my mom that we affectionately call "The Granmmamobile".
-
I have a white Jetti that we named Ani for Anikan Skywalker.

I've never named a car of mine but one of my sisters used to name her cars. I tried naming mine but it just didn't seem right so I gave up. lol I'll have to ask my sister if she still names her cars or if she has gotten too grown-up for that now.
-
I never have, but my mother named all her cars Pooh.
-
I named my car the lady.
-
I have had friends who have named their car, but for whatever reason I have never felt the need to do that. I don't judge those who do name their car, but it just isn't for me.
-
I dont have one :(
-
I don't do it now, but growing up my siblings and I would call our mom's car the "blue bomber" because it was a light blue buick that made noise when my mom would excelerate.
-
I don't but my husband does. Our last car was Akane, present car is Ginnan
-
I don't usually name vehicles....but my kids and their friends named my mini van the "Momma T mobile"...lol
If I were to name my vehicles...our Rendezvous would probably be named Randy or Renaldo or something like that..
-
No I don’t. I don't have a name for my car. It is strange to give it a name… cars don’t talk. ;D
-
I have a yellow mini cooper with black stripes. His name is "Bee Rad"
I have always named my cars. Funny :D
-
Now thats really funny ;D We use to call our cars by their names early on, but as we got older to got away from it. I remember the "blue goose" or "nellie"
-
;D Yes, I not only name my vehicles but I name those of family members as well lol. My husband has a silver truck and I named it "The silver streak". My son painted his mustang a bright green flake and I named it "The naughty leprecaun" and my marquis which was tan and my sons are painting it pale pink flake is already named "The pink princess". So I guess that would be a yes lol.
-
No, I do not name my car. I just call it by its brand name. If it a ford I call it a ford
-
Yes I call mine singer scoot scoot. My little 4 banger sounds like a sewing machine when climbing hills. LOL
-
I don't drive but I remember when I was growing up my dad had a car named Matilda he was very fond of, later there was Betsy and I don't remember anyone after that. I think sometimes guys make friends with their cars and they become family to them so they give them names. Actually I think it's kinda cute. :) :) :)
-
I never gave a name to any of my cars through the years, but I did feel a close relationship with them. And one of them I still miss to this day.
