...Once, I found a $20 bill in a parking lot. I went to a baseball game and my girlfriend found a crumpled up $50 under her seat. I went to pick up party supplies for a G.N.O. (girl's night out) and found $50 on the floor.
...Do you feel blessed or sad for the person who lost it?
...Peace be with you. :) Della

Once I found a $100.00 bill behind the fence along our back yard. Than on another occasion I was getting ready to take a train to Dallas, TX and found a wallet between the platform and the track and it had $700.00. I recognized the person as a regular rider of the commuter train and returned the wallet with the $700.00 to the person that evening. They were extremly happy since unkown to me it included their work badge. Of course they offered a reward but I declined.

I have found money many times over the years. On three separate occasions, i have found a $100 bill. I would not even begin to count all the other bills that I have found which includes $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills. I have never found a $50. And of course, I have found lots and lots of change. ;D
However, I walk a lot. I have found this money over a period of 20 years and I do keep my eyes open for money.
I am always excited and glad to find the money but when it comes to a large amount, I wonder and feel for the person who lost it. I only found the money because someone else lost it. :crybaby2:
-
I found ten bucks in the gutter once.
-
I found a $20.00 floating in the water by the curb. i am always finding loose change on the ground. Like some said a penny saved is a penny earned.
-
$100 bill. ;D
-
I found 20 dollar bills at a mall five times actually.... I don't know if someone left it there for me but it was very odd. Two of the time I found 20 dollar bills right near the same location.
-
The most money I have found was a $50 bill. It was laying beside the parking stone at an amusemuse park I went too. Needless to say, we had a little extra money spend that day. I feel for the person who lost it, but finders keepers, losers weepers.
-
I have found a $20 bill twice in my lifetime and a couple of $5 bills. I feel for those people who loose it as well but like you say....finders keepers.
-
I found $200 on the ground at the bus depot! I was happy because I was behind on my bills! what a blessing! :angel11:
-

-
$100 ;D...I still remember the date 10.7.10 I consider it my lucky day...I normally return money if i saw who dropped it but there was no one around and I learned my lesson about returning money since in middle school when I found money on the floor and told my teacher about it and she kept the money.
-

-
I found a wallet on the street in town. it was after our summer festival. the owner of the wallet was from Washington and the wallet was found in Michigan. There was no cash but I looked at the drivers license for the address and i looked up his phone number, he sent me a money order for 50.00 so I could send it back to him and he told me to keep the rest for sending it back. I told him he didn't need to do that but he went and did it anyway.
-
I never really had much luck at finding money on the ground.
-
one day it was really windy and I was just about to go upstairs to my apartment and a $100 bill blew out right in front of me from under the stairs! It kind of looked like someone set it right in front of me.
-
I went for an early walk one day and found a $20 note all scrunched up in the gutter......made my whole week!
-
.25 cent I think is the most I have found
-
The most I've ever found was $20 in a gym locker room. No one else was in there with me, (and I didn't see anyone walk out when I went in), so I took it. I felt blessed- it was a rewarding work out to say the least
-
I found $20.00 2 times.
-
Most money I ever found on the ground was $10.00 ::) ::) ::) ::)
-
I have found a $100 bill once and a wallet a couple of times. I turned the wallets into the police because I had no way of getting ahold of the owners, that was before dell phones though. I do feel sorry for the person because I have been in their shoes. I went to pay for something and could not find the money where I put it, and you really feel stupid when you are checking out and can't pay for something.
-
I must not walk in the right places - I've only found pennies and dimes >:(
-
For some reason, I feel a little guilty when I find money on the ground. But I have found two $20 dollar bills wrapped together. I must say the guilt quickly eases after a while though. :)
-

-
Was late one night and on a lonely street with no one but me driving I saw something on ground as I drove by so I decided to stop and go back cause it looked like money and when I did it was a 20$ bill. Glad I stopped and Im always cautious of whats on street cause who wants a flat tire on a street with no one around. Plus it was a street coming home from work and I worked the late shift. That was 20 yrs ago.

I've found a few bucks, and lots of change, but that's about it. I don't walk as much as I used to, so I haven't found more than a few pennies lately.
-
I think when I was very young, I found a 100 bill in childrens palace, I then gave it to my dad, and he bought me a little cheap plastic piano and kept the rest!!
-
I think if you find a wallet with an ID inside, you're duty bound to turn it in.But if you just find cash laying around it's fair game. How do you know if God didn't just put it there for you? ;D
-
if you just find cash laying around it's fair game. How do you know if God didn't just put it there for you?
One would know that was a false attribution, unless one were a self-deluded religious adherent going around misattributing things to superstitious beliefs.
-
Someone must have gone in their pocket before getting in their car. I found $32.00 on the ground, a 20, 2 fives and 2 singles bundled together.
-
I knew if I mentioned God,Falcon would show up.So predictable. ;D

If you knew that then you are also tacitly admitting to your own predictability by mentioning your delusional superstitions.

Perfect example of your christian morality. So you find thousands of dollars, maybe hundreds of thousands, or even millions, but there's no ID, therefore you don't have to turn it in to the police, god wants you to have it, he put it there just for you. It could be drug money, money obtained in any of a number of illegal ways, but there's no ID, so god must have left it there just for you. Johnnie, I don't expect you to understand the idiocy and immorality of your logic, but most others who read this will.

There's no "logic"/rationality in such a xtian rationalization, there is only a false attribution to justify avarice.

Me personally, about $20 now my daughter has found money twice in bathrooms. Once was about $200 and the other was around $80.
I feel both blessed for finding it and sad for the one who lost it.
-
I found a $20 bill that was folded and had been run over numerous times and barely noticeable. It was in a car dealer lot. Lucky break for me!
-
$100 bill in the produce section of the grocery store. I stood there for about 5 minutes looking for someone who seemed frantic then left the store so the kids, myself and my husband could go to a movie and dinner.

This is a perfect example of your trying to read more into my statement than was intended.I'm not entirely surprized, since athiests do that with scripture all the time.
We are talking about $10,$50,$100 bills being found on the ground.Granted,I believe if He chose to He could place $10,000 on the ground for a person, but again you're reading something into the statement through your own perverted reasoning.
God delivers in many ways.If you need it,He'll provide it.For example,I remember years ago my whole family was together shopping and my mother ran short on cash to pay for the shopping.Suddenly,a man appeared and gave us $50 which was enough to cover the cost.He said "This is a gift from my pastor." So we went over to the Pastor who was standing a few feet away and thanked him.He said "You've probably heard of my brother--Benny Hinn."
So there you have it.God supplied the need.I have no doubt it was His hand that led Benny Hinn's brother to the store that night to help us out when we were in need.

-
I found three $20 bills crumpled in front of a trash can on city sidewalk.
-
A wallet with $300+ someone left at a restaurant. I turned it into the manager and waited twenty minutes at the nearby cafe to make sure the rightful owner got it back.
-
The most money i found on the griund was a $5 bill on the cafeteria floor when i was in high school. My boyfriend found a $100 dollar bill when he was driving out from his job. He saw something blowing in the wind so he got out of his car to see what it was and was surprised it was a $100 bill!!!
-
I found $10 one time when I was setting up at the flea market years ago. I told the flea market manager and he told me if no one claimed it I could keep it. I work at Walmart now as a people greeter and I found $20 laying on the floor and I took it to the service desk because I thought someone would miss it and come back for it. Hope everyone has a great day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.
-
I once found $20 on the side of the road when I was walking to the store. It'll never happen again. I have nothing but bd luck for the last year. Bankruptcy, losin my job, AC going out. When will it all end?
-

I think the most I have found is $20 as a 20 dollar bill right outside the automatic doors of a grocery store.
I think I have found $5 bills before and always lots of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
I pick them ALL up.
-
I have found money at different times over the year from 1 to ten dollars, depending on where I find I will keep it but if it is inside of the welfare office I will turn it in but if i find in my families house I will pocket it in a minute for real.
-
Believe or not! A $100 bill on the parking lot pavement.
-
The most I have found was $5 but my husband found $40. Although, throughout the 16 years we have been together, he has lost a $100 bill on two occasions and has lost a few $20 bills.
-
50 Bucks frozen on the ground when I was shoveling snow back in kansas as a kid ;D
-
$20 on the pier going out to the lighthouse...I guess I felt blessed then, but now I kind of feel bad for the person who lost it (17 years ago!).
-
When I was around 10-years old I found $45.00 in an envelope. Other than that I've found $5, $10 even $20.00.
-
...Just remembered when my grandparents had both past away and we were packing things up from their house, we found money stashed in many different places. Under drawers in old dressers, in books, in coat pockets...
-
Ten dollars!!! ;D ;D ;D
-
When I was a young girl, I found a dollar. Once I fournd 20 dollars. :) ;D
-
Found a $10 bill once when I was a little kid - we were walking in the Ringling Brothers Circus and I guess someone dropped it out of their pocket.
-
I found $10 at the mall but it was seniors day and I didn't feel right to keep it so I turned it in. I had forgotten about that until now.
-
My husband once found a $50 at the arcade. He quickly put his foot over it and we stood there for a couple minutes to see if anyone would claim it. No one did and we did a little shopping. :)
-
A $5.00 bill.
-

-
I found a $100 bill at the mall...I told the store management I had found something and if anyone lets them know they lost something to call me. I never heard anything...so I got to keep the $100 bucks.
-
This dude was leaving the bank and flashing his money to his gf. He dropped 200$ and drove off while I was trying to give it back to him. I ate some olive garden for lunch that day.
-
The most I have ever found, was when I was about 14 or 15 years old, and it was $5.00 :sad1:
-
I don't remember ever finding money besides change on the ground
-
I once found a $1 bill outside of a gas station... Since I was going inside to pay, I decided that the dollar was lucky and purchased a scratch-off ticket. Boy was it ever lucky! I won $100 on that ticket!
I also heard about a person at a local bar that found an unopened pull-tab ticket, opened it up, and found that it was a $150 winner.
-
I did find $5.00 in a parking lot at a thrift store. I was with my sister in-law, looked down, and there it was. Trust me, that was a shock. :)
-
I honestly don't remember, so it must not have been that much. Occasionally I'll find a $10 or $20 in one of my pockets and that is always fun. A little boy at school found a $50 in the school parking lot last year. He turned it right in to the principal. My husband found an iPhone5 sitting on a bench at the train station the weekend they came out. He turned it in to security. Someone had to be very upset that weekend. Hopefully, they went to security to see if anyone turned it in.
-
i dont know a few bucks i dont remember getting anything big some cents and maybe ones maybe 5 but dont think much more then that
-
The most money I've found was $145 by a sock bin at a shoe store
-
Well I am not sure this counts. But I was stepping off the TRE train which is our commuter rail in the DFW area at Centerport and noticed something between the car and the platform that I did not believe belonged there and being curious I waited until the train pulled out to investigate. When I bent over and picked it up it was a wallet with $600.00 in it. Along with credit cards and luckily a drivers license which enabled me to track the owner down and return it. She explained that she was running late that morning and must of dropped her wallet after purchasing a ticket and was so thankful to get the wallet and money back since it was for her kids Christmas. That was about 4 years ago give or take a month or two.
-
Most of the money I find is in the form of coins. I think the most I've every found was a $20 bill but that's only happened once. I've probably found more in coins than I did with that $20.
-
10 dollars in front of Walmart which was strange because its like how I found it out of all these people
-
I found $20 one time. But since I work at Walmart I turned it in to service desk. Someone would probably come back after it and they might have need it real bad. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.
-
I found $100 bill before and I still have it for good luck
-
$20.00 seems to be my limit. Once a bill literally landed at my feet when I was in a parking lot ready to get in my car. I looked around, but there was no one else in the parking lot who could have dropped it so who knows where it blew in from. When I bought my last car, I found two rolls of quarters ($20.00 again) under the driver's seat. I called the dealership to thank them thinking it was some kind of promotion. It wasn't. I guess the previous owner may have stashed them in there and forgot about them? Oddly enough, both times this happened I was strapped enough for cash that I was very thankful for it.
-
I'm not sure how much I have found but my daughter a few months ago found $40 on the floor at school. She turned it in to the office (proud mama!). A month went by and no one claimed it so they gave it to her. Great lesson!
-
i found on the ground around $125 at one time i was happy and grateful i was broke at the time
-
105 Dollars...... :peace:
-
$5 - twice at the same spot Sat AM - and you wonder why the guy is broke after bar-hopping - when he pulled his key the money fell out. TIP: Always use a wallet to carry cash - every wonder why the broke guy never has a wallet?
-
the most I have found is $10.
-
I find coins all the time, especially when I am metal detecting (of course). But the most I ever found in one place was a single 10 dollar bill. I was just walking down the street and there it was laying on the sidewalk. This was back in the mid-70's, when I was still a kid, so it was kind of a big deal at that time.
-
I found $20.00 one time.
-
When I find money it's usually $20, haha. That's the most I've ever found. Was lucky and found a $20 at a convention once and didn't have money. I was like "yaaay food"
-
I found five dollars and I gave it to my mother and she gave me a kiss.
-
Sadly, I don't think I've ever found anything that substantial! $10 was probably the highest amount! Le sigh.
-
I'm never found any money on the ground in my life. I am hoping that I can find some soon.
-
200.00 at a casino in Las Vegas,,,,,,20 years ago
there were two hundred dollar bills in the doorway.
-
I found $20 on the ground...and it was my $20. I had dropped it earlier, and realized it was gone, and luckily found it again.
-
I found three hundred and fifty one dollarsin a rubber band at our health club...no identification or nothing. I turned it into the front desk and they called me three hours later saying that a man had called and inquired if that exact amount had been turned in! I asked them if he was able to identify the money by giving the exact break down of the bills contained within along with the serial number on each bill...LOL. That was my feel good duty of the day! The next month(unrelated?) I was given a three hundred and fifty dollar bonus on my check for work done above and beyond the call of duty. Kharma to the maximum...follow the right path and it will reward you in mysterious ways!
-
probably just a couple cents.
this one time i thought i found a hundred dollar bill, but when i picked it up it was a fake that said something about jesus :notworthy:
-
The most money I ever found on the ground was a $10.00 in a store's clothing aisle. There was no one else in the aisle, so I kept it - it would have been impossible to find who it actually belonged to.
-
found 20 bucks on the floor at a bar...free drinks!!!
-
$100 and $50. $50 more than once. $20 while walking through my neighborhood once. I never find bills anymore, I think a lot fewer people carry cash than they used to.
-
The most i have ever found is $20 bucks on the ground at a gas station(i ended up getting extra food with it,so i was very thankful to have found it
-
The most i have ever found was $50 c:  :)
-
I found a 20 on the ground once, this year I am gonna keep track of all the change I find on the ground so far I am at 39 cents lol
-
When I was 14 years old I found a $50 bill by the gutter at the local park. It was blended in with the leaves, but I have a good eye, so I spotted it. I thought long and hard if I should just keep what I found a secret or tell my parents. I went home that day and my mom only had $25 dollars for groceries that week, so I told my parents that I found that $50 dollar bill and I gave it to them so my mom could buy enough groceries to last 2 weeks. Too bad today it costs about $100 per week to feed a family of 3!! Times sure have changed! Nowadays, I never find anything, but some bad pennies in parking lots. Bummer! :P
:peace:~workmama~
-
How come people are so lucky?? Wish I could find some paper money on the ground instead of penny!!
-
Years ago, I found $120 on the ground. I felt bad because I am sure whoever lost it needed it, but no one was around.
-
100 a few years back when walking to a store :)
-
HAHah... lol... may be a penny :D
I wish a case full of money like in deal or no deal game...
-
The most I found on the ground was $20. I think it was in a parking lot at the mall. Gee..it's been so long that i can't remember exactly where. :)
