Title: Music concerts
Post by: ktheodos on August 12, 2012, 06:31:23 pm
Is it just me, or does it seem like more music concerts are more focused on the dancing/displays than they are the music? Distractions? Or is it perhaps because music is becoming less "original/engaging" so artists need to use the displays more to make for that....?

its cause now adays they are lip syncing more so they want you distracted so they don't have a "ashley simpson" incident

The Capitol theatre is on the map again in Westchester County NY for concerts. This place was a hot ticket in the early 70s for such acts as Chicago,Jefferson Airplane to name a few.Bob Dylan and The Moody Blues are coming this fall and i being a BIG Moody fan cant wait to go.

I typically avoid big-name shows, so I can't really comment on those.  The smaller shows that I usually go to are all about the music.

Yah you got that right. I went and to see Slayer and Slipknot played after them and there whole show was more of a circus then a normal concert. Slayer was awesome as usually because they just play there songs and don't have all this visual garbage. Slipknot was just so stupid. They have 3 drummers and they even had SNOW. I MEAN SNOW. THAT IS REALLY STUPID.  :angry7: :angry7: :BangHead: :BangHead: :angry7: :angry7: :BangHead: :BangHead:
