how many can post in one day?
-
as a newbie, you can post up to 9 times in a 24 hour period. That limit goes away once you become a Junior Member. Your status changes with each number of posts you make.
Here's the list of number of posts needed for each title:
Title---------------Stars---------------Posts
Newbie---------------1-----------------1-49
Jr Member------------2----------------50-99
Full Member-----------3---------------100-249
Sr Member------------4---------------250-499
Hero Member----------5---------------500-749
Elite Member----------6---------------750-999
Silver Member---------7--------------1000-1999
Gold Member----------8--------------2000-3999
Platinum Member---------9---------4000-?

I'm new at this site, what are the advantages to having titles for posting
-
Bragging rights, mostly.
It is also useful for the reader to know whether the comments made are by someone who's been around and knows the ropes -- or someone who is realitvely know and doesn't.
As far as I know, there are no monetary perks attached to the rankings (except that newbies can only post 9 posts/daily).

There is more to it than bragging rights. We are already being paid to post. Right?

I agree that you start out as 9 posts in 24 hours day as a newbie and it will go up when you move to the next level.

It is funny to me because it must have taken me a good 3 or 4 months to even realize that there were different titles and levels. I never paid any attention to it because I had not noticed them. Then I did a little digging around and figured out that it did not make any difference in payouts or earnings, so I don't even pay attention to it any more other than when a newbie is posting and then I try to be helpful to them if I can. And if I see comments that I find uninformed or not kind, from a more seasoned member, I finally now know I can also use the ignore button and that has been so wonderful. Sometimes the old dogs have more bark and they are merely barking to bark and make a spectacle of themselves and are best just to be ignored.
