I had to tell someone this,,, I called Dell, and the lady on the phone could not hear me.. I asked her, where are you.. I practically yelling..
She said, she is here LOCALLY in the Philipines...  ???  Considering, I am in Tampa, I don't know where Philipines, FL is on the map...

That is very funny...I know we all have those annoying customer service calls, and I try and be polite but if i can'tunderstand them and they keep trying to say the same thing over and over I get more angry. I am scared one day i will agree to something I didn't mean to, just because I didn't understand what they were saying. Especially when it comes to credit card companies.

lol I ask them to spell the words out if I dont understand them or ask for another rep. I lose patience if they continue to ask me to repeat or if I have to ask them to keep repeating.

I've had to call Dell many times and I get the same thing, but I live in Texas.

I have a general rule of thumb that if I can't understand the person on the phone I ask them to transfer me to the next available agent. It also helps to have direct numbers to companies you deal with on a regular basis. For instance with Sprint I call one direct number to a department that doesn't handle my issue, but since their a part of Sprint they help me with it. Works everytime.
